"Aren't we going with them?" Unar asked when he saw that his mate had closed the portal.

"No, they will be noisy even when threatened with food, because they know I can't say no to them. If it helps, I bound them with a barrier spell, so the third floor will be free of their noise. 

"Besides, putting them apart will only get them experimenting shit that they shouldn't," Alanor said and Unar looked at him amusedly like he had more questions. 

It seemed like Alanor knew his friends so well and that was true. He knew they would be chaotic enough out there, but if they sensed that Alanor was hurt, they would do whatever it took to get to the bottom of it all. 

They were Alanor's definition of unconditional love and a part of Alanor hoped that someday, he would be able to consider Unar his unconditional love too. 

Oh but they had quite the future.
