Chapter 370: Please, Let Me Love You

"I won't ask you for much Al, but let me love you the only way I know of, please," Unar said as he looked into his mate's eyes, the conflicting eyes staring back at him, not even making him feel like he ended up taking a step back. 

He had made his decision and he would stand by it. He wasn't going to leave and if Alanor needed reassurance every damn time, then Unar was more than ready to give it to him.

"But you plotted—" Alanor said softly, the disbelief in his voice making Unar let out a smile, as he ran a thumb on Alanor's lower lip, gently rubbing as he looked into his mate's eyes which were dimming. 

"—to love you till you never felt alone, I planned to give you the world, if that's what you wanted. I plotted to make sure no one ever made you feel unsafe again, to make sure you never had to doubt every smile that was sent your way.
