'Why does it hurt so bad? Fuck!'

It was the same inward battle he'd been fighting over the past few weeks. Nothing changed for the better. He was still feeling like shit, and he hated it. The fact that he worried about his rejected mate, made him feel like the biggest asshole in the midlands.

He had a choice, but he just had to be selfish with his choices. Maybe he needed to smack Edison in the face with a magical drum, just to give the bastard a hint of the pain Alanor was currently feeling.

There were times when Alanor hated himself for giving Edison so much power in his life, but then it was also a reminder that he alone, would be able to bring down the big mad monstrous king of Udrad.

Alanor would never forgive Edison of Udrad, if anything, his pain reminded him of why he would never let Edison have a quick death. He would make it slow, and torturous that the midlands would shake with fear of the man who brought down the worst of them all.
