Alos
Two weeks later.
Whispers have been on the rise following the return of the Order of Chaos. A reasonably small squad had been the talk around Trinity as they skipped from one bar to the next, draining anything that caught their eye, ranging from poison to the hardest of liquor.
How they were paying for this had also caught many eyes. As they saw the Devil of the North handing out all kinds of weapons and artifacts he had collected all these years.
His infamy as a ruthless lord presiding over a classroom on the twilight campus had long since spread, but as many people saw the drunken stupor of Duke Blackwater, their fears only grew as constant brawls within the order of chaos ensued.
Staring from afar within the tallest building in Trinity, Elyimi had her head buried in her desk as she moaned and peeped her head off to the side where a cloud of black smoke trailed off into the air " Who the hell are those monsters? And why the hell are they here?"
"Oh, it's not so bad, "The Vampiric lord Theia said, with flush cheeks.
"You're drunk, aren't you."
Hiccup!~ "Maybe," Theia said, leaning her head that was feeling oddly heavy to the side, " My entire face is numb."
"Ildurla grace, you're a damn Salem Witch. What are you doing getting drunk with complete strangers?" Elyimi addressed, slapping her hands over her desk.
"How else am I supposed to get drunk? Plus, I had fun; the one called Arsene was hitting on me all day! At least till he got nutshot by Blackwater."
"Is that who crashed through over twenty houses in the western district?" Elyimi snapped.
"c'mon big sis, let it go; no one died.
"THREE PEOPLE DIED!!"
"Well, it was quick, right?"
"Ildurla, I pray to you!" She cried, shaking her head. "Can I assume you will not be in the meeting today?"
"Nope! But tell the Head Priestess I say hi." Theia said, staggering out of the room, closing the door behind her.
Not knowing what to say, Elyimi could only give a wry smile, "That child will be the death of me; I can't believe it's been five hundred years since I adopted her.
She pulled out a Holocube, one of Iluthath's most prodigious ways of communicating to the various realms from her infinity ring.
Elyimi barely could find a smile as the holocube opened up, revealing a small virtual image of a beautiful woman with long silver hair and cinnamon-colored skin.
"Head Priestess," Elyimi gently uttered, falling to one knee.
"My little flower, how've you been?" Head Priestess Flay asked, batting her delicate lashes that brightened the silvery eyes she held.
"Terrible, the Silver Devil has been giving me issues as of late." She muttered, grunting at the very name feared by all.
"So you've confirmed it's him?"
"If you're asking if I straight up asked him, no, I'm way too scared to ask." She said, barely smiling but still finding herself chuckling, " Aurelia let it slip when talking to him a few months back."
A/N: Chapter
"It's of no consequence anyway," The Priestess remarked carelessly, waving her hand, " we've pretty much identified him anyway, same with his brother, Lucarious del Lazarus, aka Arsene Snow."
"Really?"
"Well, Master Ildurla is with me, with her their little sister. We were just testing you to see if you could be trusted," Flay calmly addressed, arching her lips while her eyes turned primal and filled with a scarlet glow, "You know how valuable our little chosen is and how wanted Zariel Lazarus has become."
"YOu are so cold, Master," Elyimi moaned, rolling her eyes, having gotten used to her Master's schemes, "Well, both Arsene and Zariel are down there with our main target, Aurelia Morningstar. Will you be relaying any information regarding—"
"We will; just make sure you're there. We are entering the city now." Flay said, severing the connection.
Startled for a second or two, the Dean shot to her feet, pierced through the window, casting an instant levitation spell, and bolted towards where she sensed her Master's presence. Heading to the south of Trinity, her eyes landed on two women and a small child.
Started by the emerald-haired little girl with large golden eyes more vibrant than the stars, Elyimi froze mid-air as she felt herself age backward. Trembling as she stared terrified at the little girl who seemed to sense her, she almost fell from the clouds.
"Come," The Emerald hair child said in such a sweet tone that the Dean felt she would melt.
"That's enough, little one," Ildurla, a magnificent woman who seemed to share the same hair color as the young child and eyes.
Ildurla held an appearance of a mature woman; she never bothered to change as most had, despite her age being almost ten chaos cycles years old. She smiled and passed her hands through her little once silky smooth hair, "where's your mask?"
"Tuck-Kun, no likes!"
"If you don't cover your face, Master will have to kill everyone here. You know the rules till you are big enough to act accordingly. You must be masked," Ildurla reminded, " And your name is not Truck-kun."
"But—"
"No buts, little one."
"But Voom-Vooom!!"
"No idea what that means." Ildurla uttered and turned to Elyimi, who had landed, taking one knee," No need to kneel. You're the Dean here; we're not trying to attract attention."
Elyimi's cheeks flushed as she scrambled to her feet, having been reminded of her position, 'Yes, Sovereign."
"Good, now take us to 'Blackwater," Flay asked, snatching the little emerald hair lass up into her arm. She squeezed as though she were a teddy bear.
"You ready to see your, big bro? Both of them?"
"It's Big Broda and Big-Big Broda!" Truck-kun corrected, flashing Flay a vibrant smile and nodded.
"Well, there—"
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
"Not again!" Elyimi cried, watching as a shadow whipped through a dozen or so houses, bathing the skies in debris.
"That son of a bitch!" Zero cried, picking himself out of the rubble, "I swear I'm—" He paused, taking note of the little girl in the arms of a bewitching elf.
"Your—"
"Big Zero!!!!"
