Veronica didn't like Lyanna. Who was she and why did Lumielle already favor her so much? She felt like a protective older sister staring her down as Lyanna awkwardly fiddled with her drink. Her stormy grey eyes flitting nervously around the room.

Veronica was gorgeous with a svelte frame and beautiful forest green eyes that captivated everyone around her. Striking dark locks that were pinned up to reveal her slender neck. A necklace that was given to her by her suitor filled the pale skin. She looked lovely and Lyanna felt as though she could not compare. The silks of Veronica's dress must have cost a fortune and she was right.

"How do you know Mielle?" Veronica asked.

"U-Um I don't!" Lyanna said, her words bumbling as she cursed her anxiety, "Rias and I are friends, so maybe the Princess knows of me because of that."

Lyanna and the son of Magnus Everion?
