Chapter 4: Chapter 4 I don’t think that’s what they meant by getting baptized

It was the dead of night. I had spent the majority of my evening in bed, contemplating the massive spiral that my life was turning into. I knew that I should have been getting some rest for my trip tomorrow, but there were still so many unanswered questions, like, since when did I have an uncle who was also a god? As far as I know, it’s always been my mom and me all this time; my dad wasn’t really in the picture. Did it mean he was also a god? Still, if this was his way of trying to reach out to me, why now? Why does he decide to creep into my life now, when I’m already in college and have my own path to walk? Maybe it somehow has to do with this whole mess going on, but it just seems like weird timing to me. Oh well, I guess we’ll just have to find out.
