Chapter 2: Chapter 1(Updated)
Academy City composed of 23 districts that are called School Districts going from one all the way to Twenty-Three and each of this district has different purposes. In one of these districts a silver hair girl can be seen talking on the phone while walking to school.
"Have you taken enough rest?" ask the girl.
"Yes…Don't worry about me take care of yourself at school."
"You do know that there is no need to worry right…..."
"I know but I can still worry right even if you are one of the Esper strongest in the city."
"Yes…."
"Love you Hikari."
"Me too Harumi Oba-san." Hikari responded with a smile on her face.
"Okay then I got to go still a lot of working need to be done."
"Okay I'll see you…Oh and by the way Oba-san…" as her eyes darkens.
"Yes?"
"You are wearing your clothes, right?"
"...… It's hot and don't worry I'm still wearing my underwear's so it's all okay."
"OOOBA-SANN! Please wear your clothes right now!"
"But It's- "
"Please!" As she interrupted.
"Haaaa…. okay."
"Please don't just strip yourself in public places…" as she sighed.
"..."
Hikari facepalmed her when heard no respond from her aunt, "Anyway take care of yourself as I am staying in the dorm and won't be around to be able take care of you and that worries me so please take better care of yourself, I will contact you more often."
"Don't worry about me just enjoy your youth no need to worry about little old me okay I'll see you soon love you."
"Love you too." As she hangs up her phone and look up to the blue sky.
"12 years…since I been in this world…" she mutters to herself.
It has been 12 years that she has been living in this familiar but new world as she got used to living as a girl. These past 12 years has been as normal as it can be living in Academy City from an aunt that lacks common sense to a far from normal school life. School life in this world is a bit different compared to the old world.
"HELP!!!PLEASE SOMEONE!"
Her thought broke when she heard a scream from a building right in front of her which cause her to run to see what was going on. As she reaches the building on what she calculated to be on the fifth floor, she saw a woman who seem to be holding on desperately to a child at the railing.
"Somebody please help my son!" as the woman beg her surrounding and at the same, she lost her grip on her son.
"NOOO!"
Hikari seeing this, propel herself toward the child by using the flame on her feet to catch the child, "Gotcha! Don't worry everything going to alright." As she calms the child that was holding on to her and received a nod from him as he buried in her chest.
She landed safely on the ground hearing claps from her surrounding which make her look up from the child and as they started praising her for what she has done. Soon the mother of the child came down running to her child hugging him.
"Thank you so much if it has not been for your help this child would…" as the woman stop herself from finishing the sentence as she was scare of losing her son.
"I'm happy to help." Hikari smile to the mother and son feeling glad that she able to help them from losing each other.
Voices from the surrounding can be heard as Hikari was talking to the mother and son.
"Isn't that uniform from Tokiwadai Middle School?"
"Now that you say it yeah it is, and that silver hair also her fire ability where have I seen if before…"
"Oi oi oi oi isn't Tokiwadai has a new Level 5 recently a fire based Esper!"
"Wait Tokiwadai, Sliver hair, fire ability and also hmm…." As a teen with a blue hair looking closely to Hikari especially at her chest.
"SHE IS! That Big Breast loli body-OUCH!" a flame came right at him leaving burning on the ground.
"Please refrain from saying such rude things in front the person itself." As she smiles darkly to the blue hair teen.
The mother who heard the conversation from her surrounding look at her son's rescuer, "Then are you the recently new Level 5 from the rumors?"
Seeing the looks she was receiving from both mother and child, Hikari start to fidget and responded with a yes, the women eyes brighten as get to see the recently new Level 5 while her son still look confused and ask his mom, "Mama is this onee-chan awesome?"
"Yes, she is one of the strongest Esper in the city if I'm not wrong from the rumors her nickname was what was it…. hmmm…. Oh yeah Empress! The Flame Empress!" having heard her nickname, Hikari blush as she thinks the nickname, she received was too over the top and causing her to cover her face in embarrassment, but she suddenly felt a tug on her brown vest that cause her to look down to see the child looking at her.
As she gets to her knees to be on the same eye level as the child, "Hmm what is wrong?" as she saw the child fidget on his shirt nervously before looking at her with a sweet smile, "Thank you for saving me Empress Onee-chan!"
That caught her off guard although she was having a blush from hearing her nickname, she looks at the child with her own sweet child, "Your welcome!" everyone who saw her smile has a blush on their faces and some even fainted with their nose bleeding.
After a while, anti-skill came asking what has happened seeing as many people gathered at the same place and some of even fainted. Hikari seeing the anti-skill members excuse herself not before waving goodbyes to the mother and son to continue her walk to school.
As she was walking, she looks at her side to see her current appearance reflected on the glass panel. Her currently appearance seems to look like the character from the anime Asterisk War Toudou Kirin the only difference is her eyes which is brown in colour that she gets from her mother. She then brings her hand facing upwards and a fire starts to appear she is a Esper that has a fire-based ability called pyrokinesis although the ability itself is not rare, she was someone who reign over the rest of the people who has the same ability as her. Yes, she was a Level 5 Esper one of eight in this city she is currently rank 8th as she was recently recognized due to be able to create strong flame even changing them to blue flame which is stronger than normal flame and her range which she can take control of a fire within that range, that's is what recorded is the city's Data Banks but what she really capable off is kept between her aunt and herself to prevent her from being the city's test subject of some unethical research that this city would not bat an eye even to a child which her aunt is trying to prevent so her true ability is still a secret but that might change in future events as she would not hesitate to used her abilities if her loved once is in danger.
RING
She disperses her flame to look at her phone to see the name Mitsuko. Yes, that Mitsuko her full name is Kongou Mitsuko she is her current roommate. Mitsuko is what she would call an ojou-sama but the good kind once you get to know her behind that ojou-sama persona she is just someone who want to make friends although she is shy about it which she finds to be cute.
"Hello."
"Hello Kiyama-san! Where you are?"
"Me? I am on the way school right now as I got into some trouble along the ways hehehe!"
"I see, I got worried as I did not see you at school when I reached as you left earlier than me."
"I see, thank you for worrying about me! You are really a good senpai and friend."
"Hohoho! Ooof cccourse what kind ooff friend I be for not worrying about them…"
See isn't it cute the way she is trying so hard to hide how happy she is even if she is digging her own grave by trying to hide it.
"Anyway, try not to be late as we got a System Scan today."
"Oh, hai sempai I see at school in a bit!"
"Hai, I see you later!"
Hikari hung up her phone and continue to walk to school a bit faster this time.
As she was walking, she though about the future even that would happen although for some reason those memories have started to fade so much so that she cannot seem remember most of it as time goes by, as of right now she only remembers tiny bits of them due to this she started to train her ass off even reaching Level 5 to help be ready when the time come especially about her aunt. Having lived with her aunt for 12 years and seeing her aunt taking care of her needs, making sacrifice for her sake. She started to her as her new mother instead of an aunt but she was afraid to tell her that as she once accidentally called her mother but the reaction she received was the look of sadness in her aunt face which cause her to felt afraid to call her that again.
Hikari shake her head to leave those though away and continue her way to school this time without being sidetracked its time to focus on today system scan.
