"I miss you mom."

"Life would have been so comfortable and beautiful had you been here with me. And dad you too. I never met you and kind of hated you also but now that you are no longer in this world, I forgive you." I sobbed as I let my mouth pour words of my heart which I never uttered to anyone.

"I miss you so much mom...so much."

Chapter XVI

Knock! Knock!

I stirred from my sleep when I heard the continuous knocking on my bedroom door. Wiping my eyes and face, I got up from the bed and opened the door. I was surprised to see Dev uncle through my half closed eyes.

"Uncle? Is everything okay?" I asked

"No. You have not eaten anything since noon and it's 11 pm now." He replied.

"What?" I exclaimed. Turning around, I looked at the drawn windows to see dark outside.

I slept for so long and nobody even woke me up.

"They were afraid that I would scold them for waking you up. All the helpers." Uncle explained and I nodded. "Come on, let's eat something."
