I cautiously opened one eye and took a peak at Demetrius who laid soundlessly asleep beside me. I ran my hand through his brown mass of curly hair and sighed. He looked so peaceful, I would have never pegged him as the violent type, but unfortunately that was exactly who is was.

I cupped his cheek and planted a soft kiss on his forehead, after yesterday he had us immediately flown back to Greece where he has remained as cold as ever. I contemplated paying the poor man a visit were he lay fatally injured in the hospital, but the rational part of me told me to stay put. For his own safety.

I quietly got out of bed and tiptoed out of the room.

"Busted." A gruff voice called behind me.

I mentally cursed and slowly turned around, appearing to look confused. "Excuse me?"

"I saw you trying to sneak out." He answered unwrapping the duvet and getting out of bed, his naked torso on full display.

"Sneak out? I don't know what you're talking about."
