Katherina Blackwood's POV

I woke up in cold bed, realizing sinking deep that I'm in Luca's possession and not back at my Grams. With a quick shower, I descended down to the stairs, the delicious aroma of food in the air.

I expected the maids in the kitchen, instead Luca's back was facing me as he was cooking dinner. My eyes scrunched in confusion as well as doubt as to what he's got up his sleeves since this is not Luca.

The first time I escaped him, he broke Christopher's legs and the second time I tried to get away from Cruz, he tied me naked to his bed and made a fucking cobra eat a crab on me. I never saw the cobra again, but one look at his closet, I imagine a whole fucking zoo in it.

A part of me wants to believe that this is his true self and the madness doesn't run deep into his blood, unless it's triggered, but another part of me can't help but fear that he's trying to get me to bend to wishes and play his sick games on me.
