Chapter 426: Answers Not Speculations

Hudhayfah knew that the space was very much a need for Drew and Elodie. He knew they had to work this out because the safety of their teams depended on it. It wasn't daily that this happened to them but what else could they do?

"I'll be outside with these idiots if you need me!" the healer shouted as he dragged Rio and Theo outside the building, music to their displeasure. Well, to be fair, the man had sharp fingers that didn't even make any sense. 

He looked like he could mine their brains with his fingers and there wasn't shit they could ever be able to do about it anyway. Or maybe there was? It was hard to tell either way.

"Yeah," Drew responded awkwardly before pulling back from the hug. 

He had not been opposed to it, but even he knew that there were things that he needed to work out with Elodie; this wasn't what they dealt with daily and they had to keep that in mind regardless of what they had to attend to.
