Chapter 9: Chapter 7
Life at the house had never been good but now everything had just turned to be the worst.Others would say I should be grateful that Zweli was no longer on my case ,but I couldn't take all the ignorance I got from him it was as if I wasa ghost to both of them.
I ate breakfast alone,dinner and the house was just as I knew it would wuite in the day time just some noises from the scrubbing I did, But during the night you could hear all the giggling and love making sessions.
All that made me yearn to be touched by someone who would love and adore me,someone who would spend time with me ,someone to look at me with eyes filled with love and adoration.
"Thandiwe", that brought me to my senses "Ummm ...hi ", I tried to form a sentence out of my mouth, "Shouldn't you be doing something in the house valuable rather than sitting here all day doing nothing?", I had thought he changed ever since he found someone who is making him happy but no I got it all wrong.
The jolly good Zweli and kind was never going to be directed to me.
"Oh Zweli sugarplum" she said that in a singing voice .
She hugged and kissed him "Baby I've been missing you all day ,for a moment I thought you were fucking the no good of a wife of yours ",Oh no she didn't just say that to me ,"Oh she did say it apparantly she is better than you since she gets to put a smile on Zwelis face", my one and only biggest betrayer in town aka my subconscious; I just decided to shrug it off. "Thandiwe didn't I just ask you a question or you just going to stare at us like that ,didn't your mom teach you that starring is bad ?", he seemed to be in thoughts after that "Oh I forget your mom never liked you and never will", as much as that pained me I had to admit it he was telling the truth.
"I'm sorry Mr Majola", that was bitter and sour I just felt jealous of the new bimbo in town.
"That's very rude of you to call a girl that is beautiful and by the way she is married to your husband who loves her ,so she is no bimbo", remind me again why I have to put up with this subconscious .
"Dummy there's nothing you can do about me you stuck with me", I was tired of having to deal with all of this shenanigans that were happening in my life.
I had to put a stop to it,I had to get up and start making good life choices. Choices that involved being independent and start to make a living for myself, it won't be long until Zweli realise that keeping me here is just pointless.
And start kicking me out if his house.
I made a mental note to start looking up for a job online tomorrow,because at the moment I had to try and please my husband by doing the chores.
