Chapter 59: Borrowed Time

It feels like I have been in this hospital room almost for forever. As I wake up again, it is almost nighttime and I really wish that I could get out of this room but I know it is for my own benefit to stay here.

I know that I want that school yearbook as soon as possible because I need to find out who was Mikayla in school. What triggers my curiosity the most is the fact that she does not want to tell me about it. Maybe if she told me I would have just left it alone but now that she does not want to tell me, it makes things more interesting.

I try to sit upright in bed and then I make my way to the bathroom. I am so comfortable in this room that it is almost like my second bedroom. I decided it is time to at least take a shower because after all this lying down and sleeping, I need to feel like a man again.
