Toshiro was surprised from the sudden message from Edith. He did not expect that he will be awarded for putting up efforts learning something new.
'Edith, I didn't know it is possible to gain a new skill card. Can i get any skill like this?'
[It is natural to obtain something when effort is made. You can obtain any skill as long as you have sufficient understanding on them.]
Toshiro was elated internally. 'This is a game changer, with this I can develop lot faster, altough gaining sufficient understanding on a skill is a milestone, with enough efforts I should be able to cross that.'
'Edith, will the integration hurt like last time?'
[No host, as your body is now strong enough to master this skill, there won't be any body modification required. However, you might feel little dizziness during the integration.]
'How long will the integration take?'
[The integration will take about five minutes.]
As he listened to Edith, he looked at the timer for Soru extraction.

'It is almost done.'
'Edith proceed with the Integration of skill: Wood Works.'
[Integration initiated.]
Toshiro didn't feel any different other than slight dizziness. It is similar to what you feel when you have a beer. It did not effect his normal activities.
"So did you understand the concept of wood works?" Hattrori asked interjecting his thoughts.
"Hai, Lucci-San even tough it feels that it is bit difficult, I should be able to get a grip on it after some practice." Toshiro answered.
"Oh? If what you say is true then I am looking at the genius ship builder in making." Hattori said while Lucci nodding his head.
"haha, I have yet to master it...."Toshiro said, he was interrupted by a sudden sound.
*Ding*

He was brought out his thoughts again by Hattori " Ok then Lucci have shown you the basics of wood works, you stay here and continue to practice until you unterstand it fully. We need to leave for some time to look after the factory." Lucci was walking away as Hattori was speaking from his shoulder.
"Thank you Lucci-San for teaching me wood words." Toshiro said and added internally 'and also giving me the Soru Skill.' with a smile.
Soon 5 minutes are up and the dizziness is gone. He now has new knowledge on wood works.

'I have decided my next step I need to do. For my next skill It will be Rankyaku. Even though i need Geppo badly as well, I need an attack skill for the fight in few months. I do plan to acquire Geppo but it is not my top priority now. If I can get hold of Rankyaku, it will further enhance by attack prowess along with my sword skill Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū.'
While planning all that Toshiro continued his practice on Wood works. If anyone would see how fast he is working they would never believe that he just learned Wood works today.
After few hours of practice, Toshiro managed to increase the mastery by 1 level.
'Phew...Finally I managed to increase the level. I should continue the remaining tomorrow.' Toshiro said to himself and called it a day.
As he was leaving the Dock he came across a man with denim jacket that has a flame detail, many of his cigars strapped to it. His hair is blond and slicked back on his head while wearing a pair of orange goggles on top. He is none other than Paulie, the person who adopted Toshiro when he was young.
When Toshiro came near him, Paulie looked at him with a smug smile and said "I hear that you have taken interest in Shipbuilding, did you finally realize how awesome your old man is huh? Hahahah" Paulie laughed boisterously.
Toshiro's mouth twitched when he heard what Paulie has said. He can't tell that he has taken over his adopted Son's body, he will either get killed immediately or sent to mental hospital.
Looking at Paulie Toshiro blankly said, "Restaurant manager is looking for you to collect debt."
When Paulie heard this, he stopped his laugh suddenly and with a serious face he said, "Don't worry I will never get caught by him."
"THAT'S NOT THE POINT!!!" Toshiro roared at him.
"Hahah, don't sweat the small stufff. Come on lets go home and have dinner." Paulie put his hand over Toshiro's shoulder and dragged him.
After going home Paulie went into kitchen to prepare something while Toshiro was setting up the table. It is a nice homely atmosphere.
'It looks like due to the adoption, Paulie is not so carefree like he is in the cannon. It is shocking to see someone like Paulie, who always have live in the moment vibe, would prepare dinner to take care of his adopted son. Even though he still has the debts issue, he can be called a good father.' Toshiro mused.
Some time later dinner is served and both of them devoured it. Toshiro offered to clean up and Paulie went off to gamble again. After cleaning up, Toshiro came back to his room and said to Edith-
