Prologue
He was like a huge tree.
The tree that had carved hundreds of years in itself.
Alone, he had ruled over the whole world for ages. Everyone was afraid of his power.
A mythic being whom no one could possibly seem to beat
Was before me, on the ground with his head lost.
A lot of heritage he had left
And a lot of karma he had brought about
Was all gathered in the form of blood at the tip of his sword in my hand.
The current of time even he could not overcome and got swept away in was flowing.
In there, so many things were floating back somewhere.
Where were they heading? One might say all things would go back to where they originally were
But there is no such thing that existed somewhere originally.
We cannot always be free from our past,
But ironically, all old things end up flowing away and new things come into their place.
Sky and sunshine the huge fallen tree had bestowed on me
Made me feel rather odd.
It was dazzling.
I squinted at the clear sky which looked like it had had nothing on it from the beginning
With my tiny palm up above me against the light.
As the sunlight permeate into a shady space
Ground breathes, and flowers become in full bloom.
Like nature getting used to new surroundings, we adapt as well.
Unless we ran away into another shade,
Like all wounds we face bravely cure easily
We would also breathe, and end up in full bloom.
I laid on the ground feeling a refreshing wind. Wounds were so painful. Mikael`s swordsmanship was scary enough to leave countless cuts on my body, so I thought 'fell' might be more suitable than 'laid'.
I wanted to fall asleep. I slowly blurred a scene of the blue sky that was filling my eyes.
Just for a moment, I wanted to stay like that, having a blessing of sunshine I had achieved upon my whole body.
