"What in the world?" I wasn't surprised when Goldy stood behind me since I knew he would be there. However, I didn't felt the presence of the person that grabbed my hand and that creeped me out.
This made me wonder—why? Why didn't I feel this person's presence? Was it due to the heat of the moment? That would make sense though, right? Since even Goldy didn't warn me about it.
However, Goldy not noticing didn't make much sense to me. After all, it's Goldy, isn't it? The freaking gold dragon! How the hell is he not sensing these stuff?
And that would conveniently lead to my theory that the person who grabbed my hand is not someone who explicitly gives off the danger signal. And that was exactly the case.
"You! What are you doing here?" I asked to the person before me. A teenage girl of my age, who looked quite gassed. Yea, it was Qiu Si.
"This is my house! My sect! Don't you think I should be the one asking you the questions?" She asked back.
