Chapter 98: Pebble

Luckily for me, Goldy came in for the save just in time with all those pebbles of his. As I said previously, I wasn't completely banking on him since he started sounding like a madman at times, but it feels good when you have someone to rely on times like this.

Anyhow, the second pebble thrown to the entrance lateral to me, but opposite to the ones advancing towards me, sure did attract the attention of those people. I simply couldn't wait upon the third pebble dropping since it would serve no purpose to me especially since I would be in the line of sight of the security. So, whatever I wanted to do, had to be done in this stretch.

Therefore, I decided to tire out my legs in this time frame as I started running like crazy but with minimum sound. Difficult task for any other person to do such a feat under immense pressure, but with all the training I went through during that training montage period that we skimmed over, it was easy as heck for me.
