Arthur, Adela, Sofia, and all other students of Nosh arrived and stood near Vincenzo as he explained to Jaane about Twin Soul children. The only one not here was Kain.
The guards were about to kill the Twin Soul child, as well as the Blood Mage but then a swarm of bats flew toward and attacked them. After that, the bats got together and formed into a giant red ball then it turned into a shirtless man who wore a Blood Pendant on his neck, gray leather pants, a mask on his face and he was holding two daggers. Each dagger had a Magical Blood Stone embedded in it.
[Vampiric Swarm], level 25 Blood spell that will transform the caster into a swarm of bats flying toward any destination while attacking and sucking the blood of enemies. The blood taken from enemies will automatically be stored inside the blood pool of any Magical Blood Equipment that the caster was wearing. This spell will actively drain the blood pool of the caster. Unless all the bats were killed at once, any fallen bats will fade away and new bats will appear to replace.
“Another Blood Mage?” Everyone thought to themselves.
The masked male Blood Mage did not cast any other spells. Instead, he quickly killed six guards using just his daggers. Every time the dagger stabbed into a guard, it drained the blood of that guard until depletion then magically flew back toward the hand of the masked Blood Mage. Those guards were at least tier-three or tier-four warriors, but they were easily killed by this masked Blood Mage. To be able to do something like that, the physical strength of this Blood Mage must be on par if not stronger compared to a tier-six warrior. Vincenzo, Aber, Arthur, Jaane, the Fire Mage, and all other Students Mages of Nosh who were standing nearby started chanting for the strongest spell they could cast as they know this male Blood Mage is on a different level compared to the female one.
Vincenzo gave the command for his four Thunder Eagles to attack the masked Blood Mage. The masked Blood Mage transformed into a swarm of a thousand bats and fought heads on with the Eagles. The Eagles casted [Chain Lightning] to electrocute more than a hundred bats but were not enough to kill them all. Any bats killed were immediately faded away and new bats appeared to take their places. The swarm of bats drained all the blood of the Thunder Eagles one by one until all four Eagles were dead.
Transformed back into the human form, the masked Blood Mage tapped into the blood pool of his Blood Pendant. Without saying a word to anyone, the masked Blood Mage casted [Conjure Skeleton Warrior] a hundred times to create an army of one hundred Skeletons to fight with the remaining guards that were still surrounding the Twin Soul child. Not stopping there, he casted [Conjure Ice Gargoyle] six times and commanded the Gargoyles to fight with The Fire Mage, Vincenzo, Arthur, Jaane, as well as other Student Mages of Nosh who were trying to cast magic spells against him.
“How long has he been chanting for those Conjuration spells? He must have been chanting while the other Blood Mage was busy fighting.” Everyone thought to themselves while struggling to fight against the Ice Gargoyles.
The whirlwind stopped and Aber was unharmed but the Ice Guardian faded away after casting a total of fifty-two [Ice Barrier] spells on Aber and itself. Aber did not want to let two Blood Mages escape from him, he casted [Ice Prison] on the masked Blood Mage to imprison him inside a circular ring of ice with a radius of two hundred square feet that had the height of a hundred feet tall. Not even ten seconds later, the masked Blood Mage escaped from the [Ice Prison] through his transformation into a swarm of bats using [Vampiric Swarm] and flew up higher than a hundred feet tall to get to the outside. After that, he casted [Conjured Phantom Knight] two times then commended each of the Phantoms to protect the female Blood Mage and the Twin Soul child.
The masked Blood Mage sprinted toward Aber while dodging all of his [Ice Spear] spells. The Ice Spears missed their target but it reserve and continued chasing behind the masked Blood Mage. As the six Ice Spears were about to penetrate the masked Blood Mage from behind, it was blocked by [Sanguine Tide] and melted away. Not only [Sanguine Tide] can free its caster from negativity effect statuses but it can also become a barrier shield to dispel objects created using magic such as Fireballs and Ice Spears. However, if [Sanguine Tide] was casted by an Intermediate Blood Mage, it may not have the power to dispel objects created by Master-tier magic casters.
The masked Blood Mage jumped up high, spun, and attempted to stab his daggers onto Aber but was blocked by Aber’s [Ice Barrier]. The masked Blood Mage jumped back to create some distance while casting [Conjure Fire Demon] three times and commanded them to attack Aber. Knowing those three Fire Demons will keep Aber busy for a while, the masked Blood Mage transformed into a swarm of bats using [Vampiric Swarm] then flew toward the Twin Soul child.
The masked Blood Mage held the Twin Soul child in his left arm while holding the female Blood Mage in his right arm and activated [Warp Infusion]. A Skeleton Warrior was switched in his place. Appearing inside a hotel room, the masked Blood Mage took down his mask while giving his Blood Pendant to the heavily injured female Blood Mage and said, “You were too reckless.” The female Blood Mage tapped into the blood pool inside the Blood Pendant and casted [Life Drain] to start healing herself.
“I’m sorry, Senior. Thank you for saving me. Senior, may I know your name?”
“Kain Bersk. What is your name?”
“Nanya Dawnfowl.”
Kain put the Twin Soul child on the bed, patted her on the head, and said, “Little girl, what is your name?”
“My *hic, my name is *hic*, is Emelia Kincade.” The Twin Soul child answered while trying to stop crying.
“Uhm, I know you have questions. Nanya will explain to you everything later.”
Kain took out his Storage Ring, activated the password through chanting silently, and then threw it on the ground. The ring became a storage chest. Kain put his mask and two Magical Blood Daggers inside the chest then grasped his Student Mage's Robe from the storage chest to wear it. Kain closed the chest and it became a ring again. Kain carefully hid the Storage Ring inside his boot.
