Chapter 190: SURGERIES

"How long was I gone for?"

"Almost two months." My lips parted in shock, I didn't know it was that long, I thought that it was maybe a month. "How were you during those months?" The moment that question left my mouth, I saw his eyes tear up and he turned away from me, facing the wall so I couldn't see his reaction. I couldn't see what he felt.

"I-I was ok." His voice broke and I could tell he was crying, my heart hurt seeing him break down in front of me and I hated that he went through that. I stood up, ignoring the ache in my body and walked towards him.

His body tensed as he sensed me near him but I didn't care, I forced his body to turn around and I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him into my embrace. I felt something wet hit my forehead, warm droplets and I felt my own eyes become watery.
