Chapter 159: I NEED TO WIN

Hannah's POV:

Liam wasn't sleeping that night. He was just tossing and turning on the bed. I turned to his side. He was gazing at the ceiling blankly. It was so tough to watch him like this. 

But how can I help him in this situation? I can't make the other territory Dons ally with Liam. And Liam has to understand that it is best to accept the defeat sometimes. 

"Liam," I called out. 

He turned to me slowly. "What is it, Sweetheart? Are you not able to sleep like me?"

I grunted. " How can I possibly sleep when you are in distress?"

Liam gently patted my head. " Don't ruin your sleep because of me, Sweetie. You need to get rest."

Why doesn't he understand that I can never sleep in peace when he is depressed like this? 

"Why don't you just give up?" I asked him. 

"If that is sarcasm, then it is not a good one," he mumbled. 

Does he think that I am kidding? That wasn't nice of him.
