Chapter 31: the pill mountain
"so, this is the pill mountain city." Ling Han said softly as he and Lin Xiaoge looked at the mountain which reached the clouds. It was an eye-catching mountain that gave of soft golden glow.
They landed before the city wall and went on to pay the entices fee, which was a total of 10 ranks 5 spirit stones of the high grade.
This was a high amount of spirit stone, but paying the fee meant you were under the protection of the city. Pay this amount meant one couldn't just randomly kill you unless they were nobles or high-ranking city members.

"that explains nothing. Let's go." Ling Han said lazily, but the baby dragon suddenly jumped to its feet as it roared towards Lin Xiaoge.
It went berserk, stunning everyone there as they watched the dragon jump towards her. Lin Xiaoge snorted as but just as she was about to have her tails appear, Ling Han picked her up as he kicked the baby dragon flying.
"what did you do?" Ling Han asked with a frown
"Nothing, it just that hatred between dragons and Phoenix has been passed down through the bloodline. An unpure dragon-like that would lose all common sense upon sensing my bloodline." She said feeling she was wronged
"What happened to cause this hatred." Ling Han asked as he put her on his shoulders,
"billions of years ago when Pangu created this world, his bones changed to rocks, his flesh to earth, his marrow, teeth, and nails to metals, his hair to herbs and trees, his veins to rivers, and his breath to wind." Lin Xiaoge said lazily as Ling Han nodded. He had heard of this story back on earth and even in this world.
"some of his blood transformed, turning into dragons, Phoenix, and all the legendary beasts known. Beasts like the white tiger and stuff were born from his blood drop." She said calmly
"about a few hundreds of millions of years ago, a battle happened through the nine realms. The gods fought against the primordials. In the end, the dragon and a few other deaths betrayed us. so we became enemies, even to this day." She said with a frown
"Primordials?" Ling Han asked curiously
"Pangu was a Primordial. a Primordial is just a being born from Primal energy. Pangu was the strongest being ever to live. But he was forced to end his own life to create this world. Mommy wouldn't tell me why, though." She said softly
"wait, if Pangu created this world. Does that mean he created the Dao of this world? meaning he created the path needed for life forms to survive and evolve?" Ling Han asked curiously
"Yeah, when we comprehend the Dao, you are actually drawing upon the world to strengthen yourself." She said with a node.
But she didn't say how those with the title of gods have reached a level far higher than this walked their own oath. Meaning they didn't comprehend the do anymore but wrote their meaning to the Dao.
"how about the nine realms?" Ling Han asked calmly
"oh, those are just worlds ruled by gods. There are called the heavenly world but are split into nine parts. They have their own cycle of reincarnation, underworld, and paradise." She said as Ling Han nodded
'I wonder if people like Zeus are in this world.' Ling Han thought as lightning suddenly flashed across the sky. he instantly stopped thinking, but this was a sign that Zeus and other gods might be within this works.
"strange, there is no cloud." Lin Xiaoge said, confused as to why lightning suddenly flashed. She was sure she didn't think of any big shot name,
(Tan Feng didn't cause lightning to flash when he said Odin's name because the heavens didn't dare to act upon him or anything.)
Soon they arrived before the pill mountain. There they went to register to take the trial. The line wasn't really long. People had thousands of years to try their luck.
And thousands of years for pills to be thrown within the mountain. Every pill which was made during the trial will be kept by the mountain.
Anyone could take the trial. The only requirement was to pay 500 ranks 6 spirit stones. Ling Han was able to pay and went towards the mountain to take the trial.
Ling Han returned Lin Xiaoge to the black tower as he went on to take the trial.
He entered the pill mountain. As he entered, he instantly sensed the dense amount of herb smells in the air. A second later, he saw a furnace in front of him where a note was there.
"The first test, using the ingredients before you. Make the grade 9 dragon tribulations pill with a least a purity of 85%." Ling Han said softly
Ling Han rubbed his con as he looked at the ingredients in front of him. with his skills and cultivation, this was almost impossible to do, but he had the sky poison pure.
So he would easily be able to make this pill with a purity of 100%. In a blink of an eye, he used the sky poison pure to make the pill.
As for if someone saw this, he could care less. He could away just run away. He had the spirit farm and the black tower.
So what if you are strong? He will just run away and use his cheats to cultivate quickly. If he needs time, he will late the black tower absorb one of his cheats to regain its former strength. He has nothing to fear. He is unmatched.
