Chapter 10: knocking
The ground Ling Han was digging on was harder than normal. Ling Han dug for 12 hours straight before he was hit in the face by a golden light. Covering his eyes, he used his spiritual sense to see. But even then, the bright light affected it too, but he was still able to tell this light came off a seed that had small roots slowly coming out.
Grabbing it, he was shocked at how heavy this time was. But he was still able to throw it into the black tower.
Ling Han sighed as he entered the black tower, there he saw the tower looking closely at the seed.
"you know what it is?" Ling Han asked curiously, to which the black tower shook his head.
"How would I know? But I can sense this spirit beast. I will plant it." The black tower said as the ground move, the seed when into the ground.
"black tower, you are not from this world. Don't embarrass yourself. A spirit beast is birth in places with a dense amount of energy. The energy gains consciousness before it takes form as a beast or even human." Ling Han said wirh a shake of his head.
"snort, you want to bet?" The black tower asked with a snort. Although it didn't have much knowledge of this world, through the Dao. It can gain some information about the lifeforms or even the power system of this world.
"What bet?" Ling Han asked with a sneer. He didn't know much of this world, but he still knew more than this black tower.
"the loser most do 3 things of whatever the winner wants." The black tower said to which Ling Han nodded. This was a sure win for him.
"haha, don't be angry when it turns out to be a rare spiritual herb." Ling Han with a smile, as he floated up, as spirit stone's floated around him.
"it will take months, then we will see." The black tower said with a snort as it disappeared.
Ling Han snorted as he began absorbing the spirit stones.
'I cut these stones in the wrong way. I don't have a technique for spirit stone mining. so all I could do was just cut them.' Ling Han thought, sensing how the spirit stones energy seemed to be incomplete.
There was a special way to mine spirit stones. Simply cutting them will make some energy leak out of the stone.
While Ling Han cultivated, back to the city, wanted papers of Ling Han has been placed all over the city. A bounty of 500 ranks 4 spirit stones of high grade. The whole city was out searching for him.

On land far, far away, on a floating island. A handsome young man was cultivating until an old woman walked up to him.
The young man calmly opened his eyes as he helplessly looked at this old woman.

"Snort, you have a good son to be listed on the demonic cultivator chart at the age of 14." She said coldly as she took off her shoe. The young man stepped backward, seeing that another beast was in for him. he couldn't help but curse Ling Han.

"but since he is talent, I shall go get him and make that brat get the information out of you." She said with a slight node
"you know why your daughter ran away? I know she doesn't want that to happen to him. leave him alone." He said coldly

The young man's face dropped as he thought of his wife and now of the new guy he had to worry about. Falling to the ground, and began cultivating.
Back to Ling Han. 2 weeks had passed, and his cultivation has reached level 8 Core formation. he was currently frowning as he looked at the pills he had finished and the dust from the spirit stones.
'do I have to join a sect? thinking of resources system, what will happen if I get a system?' Ling Han asked

'I'm so popular.' Ling Han thought as through his spiritual sense he could see the wanted papers all over the place.
He didn't honestly care. He could be ranked number 1 for all he cared. he has seen many novels to know how the cultivation world worked.
'I wonder if the saying before beating a dog one most consider the master came from John Wick? that would make sense.' Ling Han thought before he looked up to see the group of mansions before him.
After seeing where the blood drop was going, he quickly found where the Ling Clan head was located. With a smile, he shot down landed at the doorsteps of a gate before knocking..
