Chapter 20: Me and you
"Jungkook.... I-" you woke up to the sound of people talking.
"Miss are you alright? Can you here me? What is your name? How old are you." You look around disoriented, blurred vision, flashing lights. You hold your head.
"Miss please don't try to move" you hear a voice say you set your arm back down and you feel yourself being lifted up. You try to move your head but it doesn't work. You felt weak, you try to open your eyes as people sit down around you.
"Can you tell me what happened? How old are you? Can you tell me your name? Can you hear me?" You breath out and in at a slow pace as your ears ache at the sound of sirens.
"M-my na...me is. Y/-n" you say.
"Ok, how old are you y/n?"
"I-m 22" you say closing your eyes.
"Y/n try to keep your eyes open ok, keep them open for me" the voice says and you try opening your eyes again.
"Where am I?" You ask listening to sirens and chains and people talking.
"Your in a ambulance, your on your way to the hospital" the voice says again.
"Wher- Jung-" you couldn't push the words out before passing out again.
You slowly wake up hearing beeping and low whispers.
"No, I'm fine... I'm worried about her"
"She's ok, look she's right there."
"I know but she isn't awake" you slowly open your eyes and look around the room and over to Jungkook and Tae.
"Jungkook..." you say in a tired voice. He turns to the sound of your voice and moved to the bed.
"Y/n" he said grabbing your hand in his. Tears filling his eyes.
"Thank god your awake" he said putting his head against your hands.
"What happened?" You ask looking at him and Tae. Jungkook shook in your hands as you look at Tae for answers. You look at the sling jungkooks arm is in.
"Here's the story as far as I know..." Tae began as you looked at him.
"We had put a tracking device in Jimin. Security had seen he had gone over to Jungkooks. So they took action and left. I made it faster then them. I had pulled up seeing you on the floor beside Jungkook. I saw Jimin standing there holding a gun shaking. I called 911 and they arrived arrested him. People claimed they heard gunshots which was true. But Jimin was only shooting blanks. So no sever damage just bad bruises." He said and you looked at Jungkook.
"But Jungkook says he saw Jimin slam your head into the door then shot you twice" Tae said as your eyes started to tear up.
"But it's ok, your ok. Everyone has taken good care of you" he said with a small smile.
"Thank you..." you say placing a hand on the back of jungkooks head slowly dragging your thumb.
"I'll go tell the nurse your awake" Tae said before walking out.
"Jungkook" you say as he looks up at you.
"I'm so sorry y/n I sh-should have looked at who it was.." he said with pain in his eyes.
"It's ok, I'm ok and you ok" you say wiping his tears away.
"So much has happened to you and I'm sorry I feel it's my fault..." he says looking at you and you start to cry.
"It's not your fault don't think like that. It happened but look we're alive that's all I could ask for" you say and he smiles through his tears. You get a flashback to the incident.
"Y/n?" You look at Jungkook who is looking at you.
"Yes?" You ask and he sits on the bed slowly.
"Are you in pain?" He asks in a low voice.
"Do you know where you were hurt?" He adds and you shake your head.
"I can feel it but it's ok I can handle it" you say and he shakes his head.
"Just because you can handle it doesn't mean you have to. They will get you the medicine you need" he said and you smile.
"Thank you..." you smile as he places a kiss on your forehead. Then the nurse walks in.
"How are you feeling?" She asks.
"My side hurts and my leg hurts pretty bad." You say placing a hand on your side gently.
"What about your head?" She asks.
"It feels fine" you say and she nods her head.
"Ok that's good we'll get you ice for the bruising and then talk about your discharge" she says and you nod.
"Ok, thank you" you say as she leaves.
"How bad is your arm?" You ask Jungkook as he pulls down his shirt to show you the bruise.
"Oh my god... that looks so bad" you say looking at the dark bruise on his shoulder leading down his arm and chest.
"If you think that is bad have a look at yourself" he said pointing to your side. Tae was still outside so you decided it was safe enough to lift up the gown to look. You gasp at the sight of the dark purple and blue bruise on your side with dots of blood. You lift up your leg to look at the same colored bruise.
"How long will these be here?" You ask and Jungkook shakes his head.
"I don't know either, they said they will go away eventually" he said and you look at the wall at a sudden thought.
"Where is he.." you ask with no emotion in your voice.
"He's locked up. We told them about him kidnapping you and holding you captive and how he abused you." Jungkook said with slight anger in his voice.
"Good." You say letting out a sigh.
"Are you thirsty?" He asks and you shake you head.
"I'd like some water" you say as he walks to the door. He comes back with water and the nurse follows behind him.
"Here's your ice. Now discharge, we'll wait to see how you are doing the next 7 days and then if your good you'll be able to leave" the lady says and you feel a slight relief. She talks to Jungkook for a little bit and leaves. Just then you feel a sharp pain and you hold your stomach.
"Help me to the bathroom please" you say in paint o Jungkook as he gets up and helps you.
"Y/n what is happening? Are you ok?" He asks frantically. You make it the bathroom and you start to pee.
"Get the nurse" you say from the bathroom as jungkooks calls for the nurse.
"Y/n, are you in there?" You hear a female voice.
"Yes" you say as she talks again.
"Give me one second" you say as she says ok. You get up and see the water in the toilet a dark red color. You flush and open the bathroom door.
"What's wrong?" The lady asks.
"I just peed blood is that normal?" You ask and she nods her head.
"You did get his by your liver so there is chances of blood" she says.
"But we should do tests just to be sure" she says and you nod your head. You go to do test the rest of he week they can't find anything major wrong. Until a doctor comes into the room.
"Y/n?" He asks and you respond.
"Yes?" You ask looking at him.
"So we have a test result back. I'm sorry to inform you but...." he says looking at the paper then at you. You look over to Jungkook.
"It's seems you had a miscarriage" the doctor says and your heart stops. You look at him with wide eyes and then at Jungkook. He looks at you in disbelief.
"A-are you sure?" You ask and the doctor nods his head.
"I'm sorry, this may be hard to process but when you were hit it had made a hard impact on your liver it also affected your uterus. You being stressed out and taking all that pain had stop the development process." He said and you start to tear up.
"S-so she was pregnant..." Jungkook said looking at the doctor then to you.
"She was yes" he said looking at you two.
"Will she ever be able to have kids?" Jungkook asks and you look at him.
"Yes most women have a 85% chance to have a healthy birth after the first miscarriage. So the chances are very high for a healthy baby" the doctor says as Jungkook loosened up a little.
"I'll leave you two, I have to write some reports on this" he said leaving the room. You look over to Jungkook.
"I-I was pregnant..." you say not knowing what to say or do.
"Would have been ok with that?" Jungkook asks and tears start to build again.
"Of course, I'm just afraid you wouldn't.." you say and Jungkook holds the side of your face wiping away a tear with his thumb.
"Y/n, a family with you would mean everything to me. I think it may be to early for that" he says with a gentle smile. He places a kiss on your lips.
"You want a family with me?" You ask looking into his eyes.
"Y/n, there are so many things I want with you. The second thing I want to do would be to take you out on a date. Wherever you want to go, you dress up however you want to. The rest would be a secret" he said smiling at you.
"Second? What's the first thing?" You ask confused and he looks at you with a smile.
"The first thing I want to do is to tell you..." he pauses and you look at him as he holds your hands sitting on the bed.
"Well come on, tell me!" You say smiling a little
"The first thing I want to tell you is...
I love you y/n....
Forever and always. I love you" he says as your heart skips a beat or two and you break out in a smile and pull him for a kiss. You pull away with tears falling down your slightly blushed cheeks.
"I love you too" you say as he smiles followed by a small laugh.
