My Questions
Now i was out in the open as i watched the house shrink to nothing in terror. My knees were shaking so hard i could feel them knocking against each other, i was sweating profusely, i was not really scared of dying but i was scared of how it will happen. Will rain of spears fall from the sky? Will wolves feast on me from the woods? Would i get surrounded by aliens or get trapped in stomach of a gigantic snake? These were some of the silly thoughts running through my head. I was starting to feel sick, but i wasn't with any pills i could use to calm myself down for a bit. I was really on my own. Sometimes I felt the urged to yell for help, but a part of my disagreed with the idea.
Then, like my brain got rewired with a spark i remembered my car. YES! MY CAR! I rushed to were i parked it, to my great relief it was intact. I jumped in immediately, started the engine at once, hit the gas and in a flash i was off. But... Where was i going? Home? Yes of course home. Were hopefully all this will make a little bit of sense. I was going with the expectation that someone can pat me on the back and tell me it's all in my head.
On the road, i kept thinking of a logical explanation for the whole incident. I was thinking of my friends, where could they possibly be at the moment? are they as freaked out as i am? Or was i the only one living this nightmare? It was starting to drizzy now,and it was rather cold, i was still in my night wears but still i barely took note of the weather, it was the very least of my worries at this point.
Up till this moment i didn't see any sign of life on the road. No cars, no person, no stray animal, nothing at all apart from the forest of trees, the bush paths and some few buildings of houses, most of them i recognize as i usually use this part of the road whenever I'm coming to visit Michael. So i was at least convinced that i was still in the vicinity that I'm used to. Of course it was around 3am in the morning, but still no security officer? This was really something weird i noticed,does it mean there was no guard on duty today? i tried not to think much about it but... ZOOOSHH!!! A car was speeding straight to me, splashing water through it's path, then i hit the brake and pressed the horn. The car stopped, i wanted to get down but I just rolled down my window and looked through and to my greatest shock, THERE WAS NOONE IN THE CAR. With fear rumbling in me I sped off.
At this point I was crying... What was I really going to find at home? What is happening??
