Damien gently smiled as he hugged her, "Relax, it's natural to get hurt during fights. Besides, it doesn't even sting the least bit now."

Valentina touched his back softly and sensed that his wound had almost completely healed up.

Feeling relieved, she then asked as they walked, "Big Brother, you didn't win on purpose, right?"

Damien faintly smiled but didn't say anything. Valentina understood from his face that her speculation was right.

She realized that Damien had a few chances to take the wristband from her, but he did not take advantage of them to not hurt her.

Valentina's speculation was correct as Damien didn't use any direct and deadly attacks on her. All he did was merely try to trap her.

He said with an adoring gaze, "Just like I don't like to lose; I also don't want the ones I care about to lose either. Do you think that I am a hypocrite or dislike what I did?"
