Chapter 73: confusion

I didn't turn and look I couldn't I knew if I looked at my Blake one more time I would lose my courage so I kept putting one foot in front of the other until I was in front of the president, movement caught my eye and I realized that his wife was moving to be by his side but I didn't pay any attention to her, what was the point she was just as heartless as him so I looked the president straight in the eye refusing to cower down, which caused the president to smile " you are tough ain't you, but not tough enough see now you're going to die and all these people will watch, hmmm oh and if you thought I would make it quick I won't, it's going to hurt .....a lot hahaha" I wasn't sure how much more I could take before I ended up collapsing so I spat "oh just get on with it coward" but he wasn't finished taunting me because his next words caused my heart to stop " you didn't really think I would just let your friends go did you, no they are all going to die with you, Blake will watch you all did then I will kill him myself" he starts laughing and im horrified  I thought I was saving them when infact i have done nothing but make it easier for the president, as all these thoughts a running around in my head the President is laughing uncontrollably,he's looking into my horrified eyes with the biggest grin on his face then without warning his smile falters and slowly drops, the room is silent nobody understands what has happened until we see a slice of silver poking out of his neck and blood slowly start to run through the wound and there standing behind him Is his wife " you didn't really think Id let you harm my son and his women did you?after all you ruined my daughter, i wasnt going to let youuu have my son too", and with a shocked look on his face the president crumpled to the floor, which was followed by a deafening silence and confusion as to what  just happened.
