Chapter 39: my friend
I burst through my bedroom door startling Jasmine who looks at me with concern but i just brush past her and lock myself in the bathroom,i expected Jasmine to start pounding on the door demanding i tell her what happened but she must sence i need my space because she just leaves me be.
I have been in the bathroom for a long time ,iv had a shower ,brushed my teeth ,shaved my legs all while trying to sort through the confusion that seems to be my life these days but no matter how much i try nothing makes sense ,i thought Wolf cared about me but then i find him with Bianca, Blake is suppose to be evil yet he's so gentle with me except when he was mean telling me he doesn't share like im his property but if he thinks that im gonna have to teach him different because nobody owns me but that doesn't makes sense again why did i kiss Blake im with Wolf well i was until he decided he was going to kiss Bianca ..... there's a gentle knock on the door pulling me from my confused thoughts "Lissa are you ok?" Jasmine asks"yeah im fine " i reply "no your not but that's ok we don't have to talk if you don't want to," after taking a deep breath she continues "iv got some dinner for you then after that iv got some trashy films and lots of junk food,you know you want some chocolates and iv got a big tub of cookie dough ice cream",
I slowly open the door to see Jasmine there with a small smile on her face "hey " she says and leads me to the bed where she sits me down then sits behind me and gently starts brushing my damp hair like my mother used to do, her gentle calmness sooths me and before i know it im telling her everything ,when i tell her about Wolf and Bianca she is first shocked then angry and discusted which makes me feel a bit better knowing shes on my side ,when i explain what happened with Blake shes just as confused as me "but i thought all the Alphas are bad "she says out loud but you can see shes deep in thought "yeah so did i " i reply
"what are you going to do?" she eventually asks i smile at her sadly "i don't know i really don't " i say ,she takes my hand and gives it a gentle squeeze "well im always here for you no matter what you decide," i pull her into a hug "i love you Jazz ,i don't know what id do without you" she giggles "come on you have had way too much ice cream its time for bed " i chuckle "ok mom" i say sarcastically she just rolls her eyes at me before leaving the room .
