Chapter 29: Combat
We both start screaming laughing and crying (well lina cried)at the same time ,I'm hugging my sister for the first time in years I cant believe it and neither can she ,we spend the day catching up,Angel disappeared saying she had stuff to do and so Lina tells me about her life here which she says is ok it's the best she can hope for she was picked as an omega I was disappointed for her until she laughed and said "hey at least I wasn't deemed useless"to which I am grateful for I'm not sure how I would have coped if she had been killed ,then she asked about home and what happened after she was taken and when I explained how mother and father changed towards me she sighed before saying "that's how they were with me ,one day they loved me then they didnt"i then told her what I was told about others before us but Lina didn't know what our parents had ment,not long before it was time for me to leave Angel came back into the room and sat on the bed with me and Lina "now" lina said "the ball is next week, which means the task is just after ,are you prepared?""erm well wolf is training me and iv gotten good so I guess so" I reply "well it's good your prepared but you need to work harder then ever"Angel added "I know I'm just so scared"i whisper "I just want to leave this place and never come back",before I know what's happening Lina and Angel have both coconed me in a hug and just hold me for which I'm grateful for.
For the next week all newbies have been given orders that they are to forget all training except full combat training which will take place instead of all other training so I get to spend all day every day with wolf my happy bubble was burst within the first five minutes of the first day ,wolf was going to be harder then ever and by the end of the first day I could have quite happily murdered him. I felt like training would never end but the upside was that wolf took me out into the forest to train every day and after the last day of training I had just taken wolf down and was sitting astride him when I said "we should runaway and live in the forest" wolf raised his eyebrows, smirked and said "oh yeah,is this your way of telling me you want me all to yourself?" I chuckled "well yes, but I'm serious we could do it ,us and a few others""Lissa come on we should get back and no talking like this to others"wolf lifts me off him and starts to walk away I frown before calling "hey wait,""No Lissa enough we have to get back ,you need to get ready for the ball tomorrow"I stand there speechless I feel like wolf has just slapped me because he has never spoken to me like that hes about to open his mouth to say something when I stomp past him and leave him standing there ,Im furious he would think he could speak to me that way.
