Chapter 13: Friends
~Third POV~
It has been a day since Esdeath, and Seiya as well as their new butler Susanoo flee the area quickly from there and now started headed towards Frieden Village to meet up with Cosmina their friend.
It has been over two years since those three met each other so Seiya and Esdeath thought it was best to meet up with their old friend before going into hiding while their butler Susanoo was to put on a disguise.
Also, they could resupply themselves with some food in the process before going to save Akame and Kurome but it was also to check on the family since they have last heard of them 2 years ago unaware of what happened to them.
They instantly traveled they're with Seiya teleporting electricity from one place to another the limit to his ability is that he can only travel himself and others to one different region of the Empire at a time before exhausting himself.
All three of them soon teleported near the entrance of the Frieden Village without being detected and soon started to enter the village…
~Seiya POV (10 years old) ~
Ok, we have plenty of time to catch up with Cosmina and the others later before we go get the twins, but I wonder how Cosmina has been since the last two years?
I was soon looking towards Esdeath as she starts to talk to me about our friend with curiosity in her voice, "I wonder how Cosmina has been here Seiya since you did change her fate originally yes, she should be safe no?"
Replying with little care since even I'm not sure myself to her as we all walk towards the Cosmos home, "Hmm… no idea honesty maybe just become normal girl since she didn't lose her parents I'm not 100% sure what happens now since I changed a lot already."
Esdeath nods her head as we soon see a merchant shop title Cosmos Shop well at least her family seems to be quite recognized since the last 2 years here.
We all soon enter the store to see it was a bit ordinary although seeing a small stage and some guests were certainly a surprise that was for sure but soon my thoughts were interrupted to see Mr. Cosmos looked surprised to see us, "Well I'll be damned Seiya and Esdeath is that you two kids here?!"
Looking over to his direction I smiled at the old man as I greeted him, "Hello Mr. Cosmo it's been a while hasn't two years, right?"
Mr. Cosmos laughs at my introduction as he soon talks to Esdeath and me, "Hahaha… well look at you son you have grown up nicely, and Esdeath you are growing up to a lovely lady, and who's the mystery man behind you?"
Susanoo soon introduces himself anomalously to a different identity while handing him a handshake to him, "Hello sir I'm Alfred a traveling companion to these two we both fought bandits, and soon enough we got to become partners after fighting together it's a pleasure to meet you, sir."
Mr. Cosmos soon accepts the handshake of Susanoo while Esdeath soon asks Mr. Cosmos about the small stage and where Cosmina was, "It has been a pleasure to meet you again Mr. Cosmos but with is with the small stage and where is our friend Cosmina anyway?"
Mr. Cosmos smirking at this soon points his finger towards the small stage as we all see the person finally coming up is… "You have got to be kidding me…"
Esdeath was with me on that idea as well as she smiles at this, "Well it looks like Cosmina is doing just fine and has fans good for the girl I bet she must have been happy to have people accept her."
Mr. Cosmos laughs at that as he gives us the update of what happened in the past 2 years of his time, "Yeah these 2 years has been tough for my family but we managed through to get this little shop open and even had enough to send our little girl to school she managed to even have her own boyfriend as well and he seems to be a nice young man as well."
I was getting interesting in Cosmina's love life and soon ask Mr. Cosmos who the lucky guy was, "Really? Who is the lucky boy that you let your daughter date anyway he must be good if you're ok with him?"
Mr. Cosmos laughs at that as he replies to the rest of us, "Yes the young boy is around Esdeath age his named Run, I did a personal background check on the boy and he seems adamant on becoming a teacher one day not a bad job either plus his polite and mature personality is welcomed for my daughter."
I was surprised to hear that I didn't know that Run would like someone, but I guess I really shouldn't expect much these days since I changed their lives but if she is with Run then she is in good hands at least.
But soon Mr. Cosmos asks me with concerned look pleading us as he says, "You know she was sad that when you two left but she soon waited for you guys to return one day but can you two please visit my daughter it would surely make her day."
Nodding our heads we all took a seat near a table to listen in to Cosmina small concert as she soon appears with a get that looks similar to a magical girl get up as I get shivers seeing it I will never ever recover watching that anime with magical girls again.
Cosmina soon starts her act as she begins to say to everyone present, "Thank you everyone for coming to hear The Great Cosmina start her opening singing act prepared to be dazzled!"
The people and us started to cheer her on and looking over the tables I see a blond hair boy clapping with the crowd for Cosmina song as we all listen in to her songs.
Listening to the song seems very familiar to Tensura and a bit Akame ga Kill songs from my first life interesting enough hearing in person seems to have a better effect than on my laptop.
Is this what is like to hear a stage concert if so than I wouldn't have minded to physically come here often.
Cosmina singing took some time before she was finally done as she was saying to the crowd who was paying Mr. Cosmos for the show, "Thank you everyone for participating to hear my voice singing I hope you have a good day!"
The crowd seems to agree with Cosmina attitude as they promised her to come here again but soon enough me and Esdeath approach her as Susanoo was sitting in his seat, "That was a really awesome show there Cosmina I'm really glad to hear your voice again after two years sorry we haven't come sooner."
Cosmina soon froze as she finally sees us and soon Esdeath starts to talk to her as well, "It's a pleasure to meet you again Cosmina it has been a while hasn't it and your show was amazing."
When Cosmina saw us she quickly ran over to the both of us and hugged us as she was happy to see us again leaving Run confused, "It's really you two… you guys are really here…"
We just comforted the girl as Run soon asks us who we are in curiosity and concern, "Uh… hello there you two I'm Run and who are you two? You both seem to be friends with Cosmina is that correct to assume?"
Nodding our heads, we reply to him as we begin to introduce each other, "Yeah we are her friends I'm Seiya Parta it's a pleasure to meet you Run."
Esdeath makes her introduction as well as judge Run in her eyes while putting a finger on her lips, "The names Esdeath pleasure to meet you Run, and I also heard that you are now our friend boyfriend I was wondering how that happened hmm…"
Run easily got embarrassed and the same with Cosmina as well as she soon starts to talk to us, "What the heck Esdeath! The first thing you say after 2 years is to check up on my love life seriously did my dad told you?! You jerk!"
I and Esdeath were laughing loudly at that it seems that Cosmina hasn't changed much from the hyperactive girl we know is still here that was a relief at least.
After that we soon began to discuss what happen to our end in the last two years when we left the village.
Cosmina explained at first there was some difficulties living in the village but eventually made to prosper there shop enough for her to attend school and private tutoring from her parents wanting to make sure their little girl grows up.
That was when she told us that was when in school, she ran into Run who was the first person to complement her voice and just like us they hit off good as friends for that one year soon to the next acting like boyfriend and girlfriend.
I wonder if Cosmina family is going to teach her about the birds and the bees?
With that Cosmina explained that she wanted to help her family using her voice to attract people to which it worked well if she managed to bring in people so good for her.
After they were done speaking about their time together, we soon began our time traveling around the other two parts of the Regions of the Empire as well as discussing our hunting trips for cash.
Even some side stories hunting bandits as well as had our close calls fighting Danger Beasts of course Run was skeptical about it but Cosmina believed us since we did bring in more Danger Beasts for her previous home.
As we were discussing some of our life experiences Susanoo asked Mr. Cosmina to cook for everyone as for the night to which he agreed.
I didn't realize that we were all talking near sundown as Susanoo appeared with some plates filled with food as he says to the four of us, "Hello kids Mr. Cosmos says to Esdeath and Seiya that you two are welcomed to stay the night in their shop for free and told me to enjoy the food that I prepared."
Smiling at this we all began to eat down on the food that Susanoo cooked, and it was so good!
The taste is simply unbelievable looking over to everyone they all had the same expression as well and we soon all started to eat as I think to myself, 'This is so good! I made the right choice getting Susanoo but maybe Mr. Cosmos knows where to find the Gifnora Forest around this place?'
With that I in my mind I plan to ask him tomorrow where to find the location of this place is but first enjoy food and get ready for tomorrow.
