Chapter 56: Chapter 53: You have got to be kidding me [Eunice]
"Shit!" Eunice yelled, as she fell from the bed she had just woken up from. Her legs had gotten tangled with the blanket, but regardless she untangled herself and stood up. She had no idea where the hell she was, but decided it was best to scope out the place. Before Eunice even had a chance, she caught a glance of herself. The only problem was that it wasn't her she was looking at, but a curly black haired woman with deep ocean blue eyes. Eunice had to admit that she looked extremely beautiful, dare she say more beautiful than Aphrodite…well at least she could say it in her mind. The mirror gained a bit of fogginess to it before the words, 'Dungeon Objective: End the Trojan War'
"Helen! We are here to escort you to your groom-to-be." The guard smirked, as he slowly led Eunice to a man. She had racked her brain a bit about where the hell she was when the question of when she was also brought to her attention. From the looks of it, she was currently in Troy before it was besieged by the Greeks. It was a nice place all things considered. Once Eunice caught a glimpse of Paris, she allowed for the guards to leave before she walked up casually to him and kicked him in the balls with full force.
"Ow!" A shout that every man shuddered to, was heard. The man fell to the floor and cursed a few times.
"Let me go back." The man stayed on the floor, as Eunice made her demands.
"...there's no way someone that violent is anyone else, but you Eunice…fuck…that…hurts so much…"
"Oh…you're not…Paris..oops…" The man squirmed on the ground a bit trying his best to recompose himself to no avail.
"Oops is right asshole….ow…it's me Davis…" He let out multiple shallow breaths before trying his best to compose himself. You could still see a redness to his face, but Eunice decided not to push it.
"So…uh did you get the objective too?"
"Yeah..the whole end the Trojan War one?" When said out loud it really sounded ridiculous to Eunice seeing as they were tasked with ending a war.
"Guessing it's not as easy as surrendering?" Davis grinned a bit before letting out a dry laugh.
"Nope, that's why Kai and Daisy are running their own separate plan right now. My job was finding everyone else since it would make more sense for me to stay here than to go out adventuring. Still…was the kick to the ball necessary?"
"Well..it felt necessary in the moment."
"Regardless, what do you plan on doing?" Davis asked while cupping his hand together and holding his gut.
"Probably try to find the others, but I can't exactly move around too much without either a guard or someone watching me it seems." They both sighed while letting silence overtake them.
"Well guess we're in the same boat. The best thing we can do now is just relax while we wait for the next onslaught of attacks." Davis finally broke this silence, but even he seemed unmotivated.
"That doesn't seem like a good plan."
"Well I'm not exactly Jay, and this is all pretty new territory with possessing another person's body so yeah." Eunice had to admit she couldn't think of anything else, so she got comfortable on the sofa while Davis laid on the bed looking completely bored out of his mind.
"You think those other three are fine?"
"Knowing them, they're probably starting a movement, or are preparing to take down both Troy and the Greeks."
"Can you imagine Valor trying to fight an army?" They both chuckled while trying their best to keep each other company, but Eunice couldn't help worrying about her other friends.
