Chapter 36: Chapter 35: Trapped [Eunice]
"You have no use, you can die." The sword of the man in front of Eunice came down with deadly precision, "Wait! I don't want to die!"
"I guess you are too weak to finish off. You're not even worth the trouble of having to clean off my sword." The sword, despite having cut her and beaten her, had stayed completely clean throughout the short fight which showed the difference between the two that Eunice couldn't overcome. A second man came along, as he just smirked while pointing a flintlock pistol at her.
"Well doll, looks like you'll be coming with us. Don't worry I'll come to keep you company. Now welcome to your new home." Eunice was thrown into the cell with cuffs, as she wept. She was truly and wholly alone. The cold steel that restricted her and the dark cell she was in were her only friends now. The thoughts of her friends outside were the only things keeping her sane. She stayed in the corner of the cell whilst the guards assigned to her taunted and made fun of her.
"P-Please let me go!" She cried, as the guards merely laughed at her. The chains on her hands restricted the amount of Mana she could use and completely blocked her off from her patron god. She had no way out. She would soon be getting a visitor with unsavory intentions. Eunice allowed herself to go into complete despair while clutching the cuffs that bounded her arms. She had been outmatched and completely outclassed by two people. She hadn't felt like this in a long time.
[Again. Kill another.]
She dug her nails into her skin, as she felt the tears roll down her cheeks leaving behind a slightly wet trail there for more tears to roll down on. She soon fell into a fetal position, as she held her knees and let it all out.
"Oh...doll, no need to get emotional. I mean it's better if you just let this happen. You have absolutely no need to worry besides you want this don't you? You're just another dirty woman. Let's get you warmed up, why don't we?" The blonde man from before took off his mask before starting to unbutton his shirt. He slowly dropped his clothes to the ground until he was in nothing, but his boxers, "I'll make you feel good in just a second." His grin only grew, as he stalked closer to Eunice, who backed further into the corner.
"Thanks you already have." She whispered before flipping over him and using her chains to choke him. He struggled, but the hand over his mouth didn't allow any sound to be heard as she unlocked the cuffs using the keys she stole from the guard.
'Assassin's Rule 1: Never let your target know how dangerous you are. 2, lull them into a sense of security before using the bare minimum of effort to kill them. Man, pretending really was hard. I have had a lot of practice though, so I'm still pretty great at it.' Eunice slowly stalked towards the two guards who had gone into their break room before murdering them as well. She had collected all her belongings and a little more, so there was nothing else to get, but a file caught her attention. She read over the reports and found the barest of clues, before trying to leave only to find the man from before blocking the entrance.
"Eunice, I was one of the overseers of your training back then. You really think I didn't know that I hadn't broken your spirit. Now, why don't you show me some of that killer instinct?" The tobacco pipe in his mouth fell, as his head flopped to the ground. She spit on his corpse before hearing an explosion not too far from her.
'Looks like those idiots came to save me. How cute, well time to meet back up with them before Val tries to takedown this entire base by himself.'
