I had hoped that the DOE would be caught before anything had happened. I had hoped that keeping the FBI out of the stadium would make that happen. No offense to Rawlynne and Jackson, or any of their other agents, but they stuck out like sore thumbs. And the same went for the local police. Devon's men were good at their jobs, but they screamed the word cop when you looked at them. And I didn't want to set off the DOE before they could be caught. No one knew what types of bombs they were bringing because they had been making several new ones at the headquarters.

I guess that, in a way, things hadn't gone too bad. There hadn't been any civilian casualties or anything like that. The only injury that had been received by anyone was to one of my men. Kiernan had been very close to one of the bombs when it exploded. And the reason for that was because he had saved a group of humans that were the intended target.
