His eyes flickered, heavy eyelids struggling to open. A familiar ceiling was already recognized by his eyes. He was feeling hot and weak at the same time, he tried to speak but his voice was frail. He lifted up his arms like he was reaching the ceiling, but his fingers trembled.

He gasped as he jumped out of bed after staring at his arms, he remembered Wuwu. He walked straight to the mirror after feeling a tightening in his heart. Then his eyes widened after seeing the noticeable mark sealed on his chest.

"When your body finally absorbed the bid, expect a insignia" He remember what the Suan Ming said

Ru Xian trembled in shock, gripping his fist close. "Wuwu!"

The Prince scanned his room, he was back inside the Palace but he was alone. He quickly dashed outside, but the moment he opened the door he saw a servant who was going to enter his room with warm water and a towel.

"Your highness! " The servant exclaimed in surprised

Ru Xian aggressively pulled the servant by her shoulders "Where is he?! Why am I here?!" his eyes became blurry, the tears welled up again on the corner of his eyes.

The servant tremble in surprised so she quickly answered "Y-Your H-Highness, a young man in a hood told the palace guards to fetch you from the abandoned watch tower last night because you have a fever" her voice cracked in nervousness

Ru Xian released her "Last night?! How many hours have I been sleeping?! Tell me please!!" he exclaimed

The servant jolted as she took a step away "It was already night, your highness..You've been resting the whole day" she quickly replied

Ru Xian sprang, then his gaze went straight to the balcony beside the window hallway, it was indeed dark outside. His feet immediately turned around, dashing to the entrance.

"Wuwu, Where are you?!" he shouted, but only his voice echoed back

He dashed to every corner of the Palace, but no one gave him the answer he wanted. His feet led him to the staircase where Wuwu often sits, but there are no human beings there.

"Don't go without me, pleasee!!!" he reached the gate, the guards didn't stop him.

Ru Xian didn't know where he was going, he was desperate to run without hesitations. The sweats were dripping down from his forehead, his breath was becoming short.

"Wuwu!!!!!!!!!" his voice roared in the entrance of the forest, the birds flapping their wings in surprise. Ru Xian felt his system was giving up. He was so tired from running around.

Ru Xian tripped, he rolled down on the grassland, his back hit a fallen log

Ru Xian curled up, his head on his knees. His breathing became tight like there was something clogging into his lungs. He grasped while tapping his chest, "Please, no..Not now" he uttered in sadness

His eyes started to sore like he was crying, the sobbing sound comforted him in the darkness

Wuwu rolled up his sleeves, then a languid smile stretches his face "I'm waiting for you...please hurry before I go" he uttered

The grasses behind him rustle like something fell onto it. A gasping groan coming from the person was blinding the sound of the flowing water from the lake.

A familiar voice took away Wuwu's thoughts as he quickly turned around. He smiled after seeing Ru Xian looking at him with sadness in his eyes. " I made it.." His voice was trembling because he was tired.

Wuwu saw the pain in Ru Xian's eyes, he indeed remembered the place he wanted to see with him "I'm glad you remember what I have said" then he smiled, but it was full of sadness and grievance.

Ru Xian's eyes filled with tears once again as he was looking towards the other male.

Ru Xian's eyes dilated as he took the pace towards Wuwu, every step was heavy, it was shattering him to pieces.

Wuwu opened up his arms widely in the air like he was going to embrace Ru Xian. But then a blue light particles circled around him, his fingers lightened up like it was going transparent.

Ru Xian gasped "Wuwu!" He managed to embrace the male, burying his head on his chest

Ru Xian tried to lift up his head to meet his eyes but Wuwu pushed him onto his chest more, and then he leaned Ru Xian's head to his shoulders enveloping the Prince inside his arms.

Wuwu started to whispered his last goodbye

"Ru Xian, don't be sad, I want the best for you" he caressed his hair

"Wuwu! Please no! I don't want this! Don't dissa--"

Wuwu stopped him "I have so many things I want to do with you..I'm sorry If I have to go now" his knees trembled that caused him to collapsed but Ru Xian caught him immediately

"Wuwu!! Please, I need you! Don't leave me!!" Ru Xian embraced Wuwu in his arms, his tears falling on the male's cheeks "The sunset was beautiful because you are with me!!!"

The blue particles crawled to Wuwu's feet going up to his body, he managed to lift up his palm to cupped Ru Xian's cheeks "Don't cry..I don't want to leave like this" then he wiped the tears

Ru Xian froze, he was deafen when he saw Wuwu's condition, the male was slowly disappearing

Ru Xian gritted his teeth, trying to resist the painful view from his eyes "I will wait till I meet you again, so please..don't forget me" the group of tears finally flowed together with his shattering heart, as he watched Wuwu slowly fading away.

He grasped Wuwu for the last time as the blue light embraced both of their bodies, Every part of Wuwu turned to small particles swaying with the air. Ru Xian sniffled, like a child sobbing in silent anger and pain

"Wu Xiao..I love you, I have always loved you"

Wuwu smiled with tears in his eyes for the last time before he completely vanished into thin air, leaving the Prince alone, crying under the warm moonlight.

Suddenly, the bell rang, it was time for him so he immediately took big steps. He was dashing so fast that he didn't notice the person walking in the opposite direction.

Two bodies collided and collapsed on the floor..
