Chapter 195: Next time...

Christian was on his way out when he heard something. He spotted his father and the couple who almost became his parents in law going at each other like some wild wolves. (Pun intended). It was a miracle that it didn't turn into a scene. Crouching on the door, he tried to eavesdrop. 

"Disgusting"! Mrs Carson shouted, almost screamed to be precise at Mr Wrisberg as they stood outside the hall.

"Excuse me"? Mr Wrisberg glared at Mrs Carson.

"That's right," She challenged. "I am not talking about him being gay, but how dare he played us like this"?

"Your daughter…. seems to be fine with it" Mr Wrisberg pointed out.

"She is naive, even for her age" She fumed with anger. "I told you not to associate with a pack like Cresentile, now see what mess you got us into. She unloaded on her husband".

"Darling, calm down" Mr Carson tried to console his wife while throwing apologetic glances towards Mr Wrisberg.
