Chapter 9: Coffee love!
Y/n headed home, happy. She felt kinda relaxed after being with Kai.
As she entered, Taehyung sprang up his seat and walked over to her immediately.
"Calm down Tae." Jimin said and pulled him back. Y/n just looked at him and sat down.
"Anyways, Kai invited me to his company, wanna come?" She asked, as drank some water.
"Why should we come?" Taehyung asked.
"I didn't ask you anyways, so don't worry." She said and looked at others.
"Ok, we'll come." Namjoon said.
"Ok!" She said and went to her room. Y/n had asked Kai if she could bring the others too and he did accept it.
"Joon-ahh, what is this?"
"Come on. Let's atleast go for Y/n. You saw how happy she was, when we said ok." Jungkook said.
"Ok." He said and went to his room.
"He really needs to change." Jin said to himself.
*next day
Y/n woke up excited. She was really happy that she was gonna visit the coffee company and she was even more happy that the others were also joining her.
They all got ready and were waiting outside.
"Are you ready to go?" She asked, adjusting her sling bag.
"Ne." Jin nodded.
They all got ready and got in the car and drove to the destination he sent to Y/n.
They soon reached and got down.
Kai was waiting eagerly outside.
''Hi.'' He said and bowed.
''You don't need to bow.'' Y/n said and hugged him.
''It is nice to see you guys.''
''Yeah. We too.'' Jimin said.
Kai leaded the way and they followed him. As they entered, the workers bowed to Kai and he would bow back too.
The entire building was filled with coffee. Y/n loved the smell of it.
They entered a room, where the coffee seed was being crushed to granules and powder.
''Do you like it?'' He asked.
''Love it! It smells so good here.'' Jungkook said.
''It smells too much of coffee.'' Taehyung said.
''He hates coffee.'' Y/n said.
''Anyways, let ke guide you all through this place.'' He said and started explaining what work each machine did.
They soon came out, and as they came out, they were invited by someone.
''Ma'am, would you like to have a taste?'' A woman asked, holding a tray of coffee's.
''Well, ok.'' She said and they all had one, except for Taehyung.
''Its good.'' Hoseok said.
Jungkook had a weird face as he tasted it.
''Are you ok, Kook?'' Jimin asked looking at him.
''Cant you see from his face, that he hates it.'' Taehyung said.
''Shut up Taehyung.'' Jimin, whispered harshly at him.
''Oh my god! Who the hell made this coffee?'' Y/n asked, as she took a sip.
''She did.'' The women said, pointing out at a women, talking with someone.
Y/n walked towards her and just stood by her side.
''*clears throat* Did you make this coffee?'' She asked.
''Yeah. Is there any problem?'' She asked.
''Where is the kitchen?'' She asked directly.
That women directed her. She got in and looked around. The others followed her and they all looked at her, thinking what she was gonna do.
''What is your name?''
''Bong-cha.'' She said.
''Well, have you tasted how your coffee is?'' She nodded her head.
''Cha, just wait a bit.'' She said and wore an apron.
She started making her type of coffee.
*after 3 mins
''Jin and Kai, come here.'' She called.
they came forward and stood in front of her.
''First, taste this.'' She said and gave them what Bong-cha made.
''Now, have this.'' She said and handed them what she made.
Their eyes lit up and it didn't stop in one sip. They both nearly finished the cup.
''Wow! This is so good.'' They both said.
''Thank you.'' She said and turned towards Cha.
''It doesn't matter how your coffee looks, it all matters about the taste.'' Y/n said.
''When are you free?'' Y/n asked her.
''Today evening.''
''Ok. Come over to XYZ Cafe and I'll see you there. I'm here just to help you.'' Y/n said and left. The others headed forward, while Y/n and Kai walked slowly.
''Your coffee was really good. You are very well experienced in it. How about you join here, instead of her.'' Kai said.
''Where will Cha go? She has the potential to do, but she's doesn't know it. Why would you kick her out? She'll be better in making coffee's by today. Even if she doesn't, don't kick her out.'' She said.
''Ok.'' Was all he said.
''Anyways, see you both at the cafe.'' She smiled and bid him goodbye and left with the others.
"So, what do you find in him?" Taehyung asked, out of the blue.
"Why do you care?" She asked and looked outside.
"Both of you, will you just keep quiet, until we reach home?" Jin said, frustrated.
"Why do you get angry? It's between us, not with you." Y/n said.
"You are talking a lot, nowadays." He said and drove.
"Yeah, cause none of you do. And it is wrong only if I talk too much." She whispered, but the others heard it.
"Let's just end it over here." Namjoon said. And it became quiet.
They reached home and they all got down. Y/n got out frustrated and opened the door and shut it, before the others could get in.
"Why is she really mad?" Jungkook asked.
"She's pissed off." Yoongi said and went in.
They all went in and Y/n was nowhere to be found. Her door was locked.
"Y/n, open up." Yoongi said as he knocked on her door.
She respected him and opened the door quietly. He came in and closed the door and sat down with Y/n.
"Y/n, what happened?" He asked.
"I don't know." She said.
"Is it because of Taehyung or Jin?" She just stayed silent.
"I'll take it as Tae cause he was the one, who picked a fight on you."
"Yoongi!" Taehyung barged into the room.
"Tae-"
"I was not the cause of it! She disrespected Aera and I did the same to that guy. She splashed water on her, so I did it. I didn't even have the intention to do." He said.
"*laughs* Yeah, so you didn't intentionally splash water and embarrass Jackson, the one who wanted to be my friend in highschool." Y/n said.
"You know what he did!" He said, pointing his finger at her.
"I did, but he just played around. He never really laid a finger on me. Yeah, he did follow me, but you didn't need humiliate him." She said.
"Ok, that was long back ago. Can we just talk about the present?" Yoongi said.
"Aera, is more way better than you. She doesn't shut the door on us, nor does she trash talk." He said and left.
A tear dropped Y/n's eyes as she heard him say it. But she wiped it quickly.
"Aish! This boy. Y/n, you don't worry about anything, everything will get better." He patted her head and left.
'What I didn't want, happened now. How am I gonna face this?' she asked herself and tried to forget it.
She lay down in her bed. Thinking about it, she fell asleep.
*after sometime
Her phone rang. She woke up and attended it, without looking at the name.
Y/n : Hello?
Kai : Y/n, where are you? You asked us to come to XYZ Cafe, but you are nowhere.
Y/n : Oh, sorry. I forgot.
Kai : Y/n, is everything ok? You sound a bit sad and tired.
Y/n : Nothing. I'm fine. Sorry for the late information but can we just have it tomorrow?
Kai : Ok, as you say.
Y/n : Thank you so much.
Y/n felt mood off. She didn't wanna stay there, right now. She took her sling bag and her phone and headed out.
"Y/n, where are you going?" Jin asked her, as he saw her.
"To hell." She replied and headed out of the house.
The others were taken aback by her reply.
"She's still angry." Jungkook said.
"Let her." Taehyung said and continued playing.
Y/n walked by the pavements. Whenever she felt very low or sad, because of fighting with her friends, she'd go to a place. It was a bit far away from her house.
She plugged in her earphones and walked. She soon reached the place.
It was a park, where there weren't a lot of people. But you can say there were atleast, 10 to 15 people.
She sat down and looked around. There was a mirror hanging by the tree.
She walked towards it and looked at herself. But all she could see was how stupid she was.
She became really angry. She started punching the mirror.
"WHY? WHY? WHY?" She cried and broke the mirror.
Her knuckles were covered in blood.
"Why?" She cried and fell on her knees.
"Y/n." Someone called her and kneeled down.
It was Kai. He was on his way to see Y/n, if she was ok or not cause he was worried so much. While driving, he spotted Y/n and saw her hitting something or someone. He hurriedly went over to her and saw her on her knees.
"Omo! Your hand is bleeding. Y/n, what is this?" He said and helped her get up. He walked her to the car and he drove to the hospital.
He drove really fast and soon reached.
He immediately checked her with the doctor. He waited outside, while Y/n was in, getting treated.
Without his knowledge, a tear escaped his eye. And slowly, more flowed.
Y/n came out, with a bandage in her hand and saw him crying. She felt bad for making him feel worried and sad about her.
She put her hand on his shoulder and he realised she was here, and wiped his tears immediately. He got up and looked around, exept her. His cheeks were still wet, from the crying.
"I know you cried." She said.
"No, I thought of something else and I teared up." He said and wiped the excess.
"Kai, I am your friend." She said and wiped his face.
"Ok yeah. I give up. I did." He said and they walked.
"Wae? Why did you feel like crying?" She asked, looking down.
"I have only you. And I don't want anything to happen to you." He said.
"Why do you not want anything else to happen?" He didn't reply anything.
"Don't keep asking me questions." He said and walked towards the car.
"kai." She called him. He turned and looked at her. Y/n dragged her feet and walked towards him and hugged him.
"Thank you." She said. He caressed her hair.
"I will always be there for you." He said. Y/n hugged him tighter and he hugged her back.
"Ok. Come let's get you home." He said. But Y/n didn't move, she didn't say anything nor move.
"Y/n, is there any problem?" He asked.
"K-kai, I can't go." She said.
"Wae? Why can't you? Y/n, tell me what it is." He said, holding her shoulders.
"I fought with him again." She said and a tear escaped her eye.
"Y/n, they are your friends. They'll understand you better than others. But if you don't go now, they'll worry about you." He said.
"Kai, please. Just drop me at the home. I just want a day for myself. I want to just stay with me. Please." She asked.
"Ok, get in. I'll drop you." She nodded and got in. And he drove.
Suddenly, Y/n noticed that it wasn't the route for the home.
"Where are we going?" She asked.
"You'll see." He said and soon they reached the place. They both got down.
"Your home? Wae?" She asked.
"Just come." He said and held her hand and took her in.
"Eomma, I'm home." He shouted and his mother came from the kitchen.
She was happy to see Y/n.
"Y/n, come." She said and invited her in. They all sat down and Kai's mother asked the maid to get her coffee.
"Auntie, it's ok. I'm fine."
"Oh Y/n, it'll be the way you like it. And you can call me eomma. Don't need to be formal." She said.
Y/n smiled and looked at Kai.
"Did you really tell everyone about my coffee taste?" She whispered to him.
"Not only that, but everything about you. Everyday he would talk something about you. Y/n did this.. Y/n did that.... Y/n's like this... Omo! Wait here, let me go get Jennie." His mother said and walked upstairs.
Y/n looked at Kai and said,
"So everything. Well.... what do you really tell about me? Good stuff or bad?" She asked siping on the coffee.
"Good stuff only. Don't worry." He said and smiled.
"Wow! This coffee tastes really good. It's better than mine." She said and finished the entire cup.
Soon, Mrs. Kim came down with Jennie and her friends.
"Hi unnie." Jennie was happy seeing her and she hugged her.
"Unnie, they are my friends, Jisoo, Rose and Lisa." She said they sat with her.
"Y/n, what happened to your hand?" Mrs. Kim asked.
"Um.. I hurt myself during work."
"Eomma, Y/n will be staying with us, for today." He said.
"It is pleasure to have you here. I'll go check things back at the kitchen. While, you have a look at your room." She said and headed to the kitchen.
"Come, let me show you around." He said and Y/n followed him, with Jennie and her friends.
They reached the guest room.
"So you'll be staying here." She looked around as she got in.
"Alone?" She asked.
"Is it a problem?"
"No, it's just I can't sleep alone in a new place."
"Unnie, you can share with me." Jennie said.
"Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience."
"It's ok. Feel comfortable." He said and Jennie leaded her to her room.
They got in and it was beautifully decorated.
"Wow! Your room is decorated beautifully."
"Thanks unnie. So, unnie you can sleep that side, if you are ok with it."
"I'm fine." She said and sat by the bed corner.
Suddenly her phoned beeped. She opened and saw a message from Jin.
Jin : Y/n, where the hell are you?
Y/n, reply!!!
Yah, why can't you just tell where you are going?
Why can't you be responsible? Be like Aera. Learn something from her.
She left the message at read. She felt really angry and frustrated. She didn't like this comparison.
In anger, she flung her phone down. Tears slowly streamed down her eyes. Jennie was still in the room and was surprised by Y/n's sudden action.
"Unnie, is everything ok?" She asked. Realising that Jennie was there, she wiped her tears and said,
"N-nothing. I-I'm fine." She said and headed out.
She walked out of the house, crying and walked to the back of the house. As she went, she saw a garden. She sat by the corner and cried, hugging her knees.
Meanwhile,
"Oppa." Jennie called her brother and searched for him.
"What is it?" He asked her.
"Oppa, is unnie ok? Is she in some problem?"
"Why do you ask?"
"She recieved a message and she suddenly threw her phone and walked out."
Kai stopped doing his work and focused his eyes on Jennie.
"Where?" He asked worried.
"I guess at the garden." As she said, he hurried down.
"What is wrong with him now? Does he....?" She asked herself and left the topic.
Kai ran out of the house. He went to the garden and his eyes searched for her. He relaxed once he saw she was there.
He walked towards her.
"Y/n." He called her. She looked up and saw Kai. She wiped her tears. He sat beside her and looked up at the sky. So did Y/n.
"You must've heard from Jennie. I'm sorry for it." As she was about to get up, he pulled her back and said,
"Ani! It's ok." She sat back.
"Everything is getting back like before. I am losing them, one-by-one slowly. First it was Taehyung and now it is Jin. He also turned towards her." She said and tears flowed.
"Y/n, I understand, but don't think negative. You've known each other for a long time. Nothing like that will happen." He said.
She nodded and rested her head on Kai's shoulder and looked at the sky and so did he.
While they were having a quiet time, there was someone else, clicking pictures of them both.
Hmm.... Who could it be?
