"Good. Come let's go out for some fresh air." He said. Rosalie looked at him with wide eyes for a while and then eventually stood up.

They left the room and walked towards the open terrace at the end of the corridor.

Rosalie stood there facing the forest on the opposite side.

She has taken control of her emotions by now and she is very calm now.

"Why did you come to meet me, father?" She asked as she sensed Edwin had no intention of speaking anything.

"Can't I come to meet my daughter once in a while?" He replied with a question.

Rosalie turned towards him and saw him smiling at her.

"What made you upset?" He asked again, when he saw her looking at the forest again.

Rosalie stared hard in front of her for a second before turning her head towards him.

"Things went as I thought in the courtroom today." She said without any hitch.

"You want to give that woman a high position?" He asked, probing more on the topic.
