Chapter 393: Followed Me

My phone rang as I packed my bag. I saw who was calling and looked at straight. As Mu Zhen had said he would be here by 6 pm to pick me up at my apartment but quarter to right now.

"Are you having second thoughts and crying off for our sleepover tonight?"

"No chance of that, and I hope you have your bag ready, baby," Mu Zhen laughed.

"So why aren't you here to take me away?"

"Yes, but I had to send a car to fetch you there baby. Some business related emergency pain in my ass. I'm so sorry. The driver's name is Ruth and he works for me. He'll get you into my suite and I want you to just make yourself at own places until I get there. Will you do that for me, my darling?"

"Surely I can," My mind was spinning with the implications of me on my own in his house.

And I wasn't really scared, but the idea did not thrill me either.

"Are you sure, Mu Zhen? I mean, we can do this another night if you're busy."
