'So they are more powerful than we think they are…' Eugene furrowed her brows and finished off Ron's sentence in her mind.

"Why do you ask?" This time it was Ron's turn to ask Eugene. 

Eugene pursed her lips and replied, "They seem to know information that only the Great Nobles and the Emperor knows." Her eyes moved from the table to Ron and stared at him seriously. 

"..." At first Ron didn't reply because his head couldn't register her words but after a few seconds, when her words hit him, he screamed while standing up on his feet,

"WHAT?!?!?!!" 

"Ack." Eugene flinched as her palms covered her ears. She glared at Ron who made her ears ring like crazy and rubbed on her ears to make the ringing go away. 

"W, what did you say?!" Ron lowered his voice as he leaned down and grabbed Eugene's shoulders.
