But Shu Feng didn't care about it at all. He is confident in his control over his Chaos Energy that he could bend it at will so managing a mere Energy Source would be a piece of cake for him. Not to mention that his body is special as UG said that it is compatible with the most domineering energy that had ever existed. Adding to the fact that Energy Source is the lowest form of Energy that is used for cultivation.
The amount of Energy Source that started to gather was enough for someone to breakthrough to the peak of Nascent Soul Realm! This realization shocked the First Devil and all those ignorant about Shu Feng's demon-like talent.
But the thick amount of Energy didn't just stop at that mass, it keeps on expanding and expanding until almost half of the Energy Source inside the Center Part of the Demon King Forest has gathered around him!
His injuries started to heal slowly. With the help of his skill and the amount of converted Energy Source into Chaos Energy, he is confident that he could recover twenty percent of his overall strength in just a minute! And if he was given a appropriate amount of time and manage to absorb all of this Energy Source, he is sure to recover almost half of his strength!
Even with the great amount of Energy Source, Su Ping couldn't still recover all of his strength! It only means that his Chaos Pool is so deep that only a large amount of Energy Source would suffice to fill it up.
This is also his problem. Since even advancing to one stage required great amount of Energy Source. Since a single drop of Chaos Energy would require him to consume a whole bunch of Energy Source. So most of the time, he prefer to take Chaos Energy Pills to recover his Chaos Energy since he didn't need to worry about gaining any impurities from them because UG said that they are one hundred percent pure.
While he is recovering, the First Devil already took out the Dark Crystal Ball. As for his intention, he wanted to take this chance and make their target a nourishment for this ball while he is still weakened.
Shu Feng sensed that a killing intent was directed at him but since he couldn't still move at the moment, he cannot defend himself at the moment.
Long Zao clearly saw the First Devil taking a Dark Ball out and he didn't have any good feeling about it. He could feel an immense death looming in that ball. As he was just about to confirm what is thr origin of that cryatal ball, the First Devil chanted something and raise the ball towards Shu Feng's direction.
A terryfying black smoke came out. Scream of terror could be heard within that smoke as some twisted images of human could be seen wiggling inside that smoke! They cry in despair and screm in horror.
'That's a Devil Crystal!' Long Zao screamed inside him. As someone who reached Immortal Realm, his knowledge is beyond what the natives of this world possessed. He still suspect something about that ball being dangerous but it didn't come to his mind that it would be this dangerous!
A Devil Crystal is what it's name suggested. A crystal that is meant for Evil! It absorbs every soul of all the living things around it and store it inside. But what made it terryfying is those souls would not disperse and would suffer eternal torture inside that crystal ball.
Despair, Horror and all kinds of unwanted emotions would make those soul twisted beyong recognition. But that is not the sole purpose of a Devil Crystal. Since it's main task is to become a food for a Devil!
Then why would a human possessed something this dangerous in the first place? This question keeps on ringing inside his head as though it did not make any sense!
Because humans could not absorb the souls inside due to their own constitutions. Unless they are practicing a technique to use the soul as a nourishment but using a Devil Crystal is way too much.
Looking at how thick and condensed the smoke is, the Devil Crystal is already ready to be taken as a food by the Devil. This would surely become a great feast!
It's just that with the time that he is here, he never did manage to detect any Devil's aura which further made him confuse. Unless....
As he come to a conclusion, his eyes opened wide and his transparent body flickered greatly as to show how terrified he is! No matter how much he thinks, this is the only possible way for all of this to make sense!
'Someone is trying to summon a Devil in this realm! ' Long Zao screamed inside him as he felt the urgency of stopping this act to happen. He knows greatly how dangerous if a Devil would appear on this whole realm! Then how much more for this world that didn't even have a single Immortal Realm cultivator currenty alive!

But one day, a human manage to read an anciet technique regarding a summoning ritual, after reading the text, the human became insane as if he was being possessed. After that he kept on mumbling the same words over and over again.
Blood as medium. Lives serves as sacrifice. Awaken from your deep slumber and bring judgement to this corrupted world.
He kept on repeating this chant as he keep on killing lives after lives and use them as a sacrifice to the ritual. But after performing the ritual, instead of a Devil coming out, they said that a crow with blood red eyes emerged from that ritual.
The rest of what happened became unknown as the man and the crow didn't appear again as if it was waiting for the right moment.
When the righteous cultivators caught on what happened, they swear to hunt the man down and stop him from his plan. Even some old fogeys who had lived for a thousand years didn't stay quite about this matter since it concerned the well-being of the whole realm.
