"HOW ABOUT WE PLAY A LITTLE GAME?"
I could hear my heart thudding rapidly in my chest, the blood rushing to my ears. Dmitry's eyes were wide, staring at me with a malicious smile.
"Hm?" He raised a brow after I didn't reply. "I promise you it will be fun."
My bottom lip began to quiver I shook my head. "N-No," I whispered in a trembling voice. "I-I don't want to."
Dmitry laughed, throwing his head back as his shoulders shook. His deep laugh filled the small room, echoing loudly in my ears. "Don't you see?" He cackled maniacally. "I don't care what you want."
He ran the tip of the blade along his fingers, staring at it almost in awe. "I just got this the other day," He commented casually, raising his head to look at me, dead in the eyes. "For you. For today."
My mouth parted open in a silent scream; my eyes unblinking like a toy doll. Cold beads of sweat dripped down my back and forehead as I felt my face drain of colour at the knife that he flashed in front of me.
