"Home sweet home" I smiled at the familiar scent of the house and placed a sleeping Aduke on the couch.

The flight had taken so much of her energy that her sleep was deeper than usual.

Making my way out of the house, I pulled the large suitcases into the house in two batches.

I groaned when I remembered that surely, dust had accumulated on every surface in the house and someone needed to dust it.

"Someone is me" I muttered and glanced at Aduke, I felt uncomfortable letting her sleep on the couch so I dusted the other couch and moved her to it, covering her body till she snuggled deeper into the couch and mumbled my name.

My heart soared at the simple action. It wasn't new because most times, she mumbled words in her sleep but the action never failed to cause my heart to skip a few beats.
