Chapter 9: Chapter 9

“God! This is so fucking good” I moaned and he chuckled before wiping the corner of my lips.

“Thanks” I told him and looked away from him, craning my neck upwards to look at the TV.

We had dinner in my room, it actually more of me eating all of the chips and chicken as we both lay on my bed watching Captain Marvel on Eros’s insistence.

“What exactly do you do?” I asked him. He only told me that he worked from home and he worked as a freelancer for major construction companies.

“Nothing too serious, architecture, building and all if that stuff” I narrowed my eyes at him

“That just seems sketchy to me”

“Well it’s not” he dismissed and I nodded, losing my appetite. I sat up and I could feel his eyes on me as I packed up the plates and separated the unfinished crispy chickens knowing I would still eat them anyways.
