'He's courting me?'

I did tell him last night that if he's serious, he should court me, but when it happens, it is truly incredible.

Lukas, courting a woman? Ain't that the most absurd thing you have ever heard in your life?

Ignoring my flabbergasted expression, he took the necklace out of its confines and, without a hitch, came up behind me to put it on my neck. And while he does that, I was still reeling in disbelief, staring absentmindedly into space. 

I was only able to snap out of it when I felt his breath on my right ear. It tickled my ear and brought butterflies to my stomach, which made me suddenly aware that he was close to me. Too close for comfort…

I don't have to see to know that my ears are probably as red as my face right now.

His finger then traced my nape, spreading goosebumps all over my body. Hell, I almost visibly shiver.
