Chapter 350: How To Apologize pt. 2

"An apology."

I gawked at him upon accepting the flowers, heart fluttering. I'm also pretty sure my entire face is burning.

'I hope he doesn't notice...'

I swallowed the lump forming in my throat.

"This is how you apologize?" I muttered breathlessly.

'Well, damn. He should apologize more then. Ahem.'

Lukas hummed. "I asked them how to woo a woman and this was their answer."

I froze, gripping the bouquet of sweet-smelling roses in my arms, not knowing what to do with it. Also, I was terrified by what he had just said.

"Y-you asked them w-what?" I squeaked.

Yep. I'm sure he would notice how flustered I am.

Lukas looked down at me. "I heard you like red flowers specifically, roses."

"I-indeed… but who told you that?"

"Your brother."

It was probably the most unbelievable thing he said tonight.

"Huh? Nathan did?"
