"I want to dance!" Noah stomped his feet like a whiny kid.

I covered his mouth with my hands and glanced around; making sure no one was witnessing this ordeal. After dragging him subtly from the stage before he could announce the meaning of 'happy' to everyone, I had brought him to a secluded corner of the dining area.

He had pointed to the moon, visible from the floor to ceiling window and whispered to me, "It's full moon tonight. Can we turn into werewolves?"

I had face palmed so hard that I think I broke my skull.

And, as the music came on, and people started waltzing to it, he wanted to dance too.

"You can't face everyone like that!" I exclaimed, peering into his red, swollen eyes.

He gave me a lazy grin. "Yes. But, I can face them, with you by my side."
