I woke with red puffy eyes due to all crying. I rubbed my eyes, it feels a little sore. I stretched and looked to my right to find sheets empty. I got up and went in search of Dalton. A faint aroma of bacon hit me when I entered the living room. I padded softly towards the kitchen to find a very shirtless Dalton cooking breakfast, his six-packs on display for my hungry sight. The smirk on his lips indicates he knows I'm drooling. I rolled my eyes and went to him, hugging his waist from behind.

"Good morning husband", I pressed a kiss on his back.

"Good Morning", he turned around to peck my lips which turned into a full-blown make-out session. He leaves me breathless every time he kisses me.?He lifted me up on the countertop and settled himself between my legs.

"What happened yesterday?", he asked softly.

I sighed and looked down, not wanting him to see through me. I'll tell him the truth but not yet. I have to do some things before that, like confronting Carl.
