''Detective Kinoshita, here is the report for today's case.'' The police officer showed me a file.
''Thank you, you are dismissed.'' I said as I take the file away.
The police officer stomps his feet and gives me a salute before he leaves me at the crime scene. Looking around the dark alley, the foul smell of blood makes me feel uneasy. So, I decided to leave the place while waiting for the forensic to take a few more pictures for evidence before they clean the place.
I reach out for my khaki jacket pocket and took out a flashlight to see the report that has been given. As I flipping through the report, I notice that the victim has sentenced in jail for committing a minor crime for sexually harassed a child.
''A jobless man with a criminal background.... interesting. Hm... A bracelet?!...'' I murmured to myself.
Taking a closer look, I notice that the bracelet was a braided cord and it was called Kumihimo. The Kumihimo that he was wearing was made out of blue, black and white colour threads.
'Was this some sort of symbols? But what did it means and why did that killer always wear it on the victim's wrist?' I look up at the night sky and started to think of all possibility.
''What did the killer trying to tell us through the braided cord?'' I close the file in my hand.
*Sigh~*
''What's with the sigh, Miss Kinoshita?'' My student, Miyu asked me.
''Eh? What's the time now, Miyu-san? Why are you here? Do you need any help for counselling or anything?'' I finally sober up from my daydreaming.
I was lost in my thought and didn't even realize if someone has entered my office after having a headache because of the case that I am in charge of.
''It was lunchtime, Miss Kinoshita. I was here to give some chocolate for Valentine and it was a token of thank you for your help in the early of the year. Without your help, I could have been punished that day.'' She gives me a small box that warped with cute warp paper.
''It's no big deal to help you with borrowing a necktie from the teachers. By the way, thank you for the chocolate, Miyu-san.''
''Then, I will take my leaves. Happy Valentine Day, Miss Kinoshita.'' The girl with beautiful hazel brown eyes smiles at me before she bows and leaves.
'It's sure nice to be young and pretty like her. Now, let's eat the chocolate before I start to make a deeper research about the investigation.' I clutch my both hand and try to think positive.

''Miyu-chan~ So where's my chocolate?'' Yuuto grinned at me like an idiot as he has been waiting for me at the rooftop.
''Here you go. How was the progress? Did everything goes well?'' I hit a bar of chocolate on his forehead.
''Ouch! Hey, don't be so harsh could you? You might break this chocolate...'' He rubbed his forehead with his cheek pouts in anger.
''Pfft! Sorry, I just can't stand to see your idiotic expression.'' I giggled.
''Anyways, thank you Miyu-chan for this chocolate. I will treasure this chocolate deep inside my heart...'' Yuuto blushed while smiling as if he was extremely happy with the chocolate.
''I am glad that you like it.''
''There she is.'' Yuuto pointed at a tree next to the school field. Yua was there holding on the chocolate she made tightly to her chest.
''Whao, we can see clearly her live confession without being notice from this distance!'' I exclaimed in excitement.
I noticed that today her hair was neatly brushed and for the first time ever I saw her wearing a hair clip.
''Hold up, wait a second. Do you see what I see, Yuuto-kun? SHE WAS WEARING A HAIR CLIP!'' I got so surprised that my jaw was dropping to the ground.
''I know right, but it doesn't look bad on her.'' All of a sudden, Touma was right behind me, complimenting Yua' appearance for today.
''Oh my fck Go— I mean GOODNESS! What are you doing with sneaking around, Touma-san? You almost give me a heart attack!'' I scolded.
''Oh, nothing. By the way where's my chocolate?'' Touma asked.
''Why? Isn't that all chocolates was enough for you?'' I pointed at the piled-up chocolate boxes next to the door.
''Then how could Yuuto get your chocolate when he has even more chocolate then I do? Just look behind that wall.'' Touma look at Yuuto who was making a Pikachu surprised face.
''Hm...'' I began to doubt him. As fast as lighting, I went to see what's behind the wall and saw it was 10 times more then Touma received.
''Yuuto-kun, do you mind explaining to me about these chocolates?'' I cracked my knuckles and look at him.
''It-it was from my fans. I can't deny them or else they will be sad.'' He explained while forehead began to sweats.
''Oh ho, so how are you going to finish all those chocolate? Don't tell me you are going to throw it!'' I clutch my waist and lean closer to him with my darken expression.
''And, Touma-san!'' I called out.
''Here, catch!'' I throw to him my hand-made chocolate and he manages to catch it in the mid-air.
''Happy Valentines Day!'' I winked at him.
His tan face began to burn up a bit as he looks at me with his dumbfounded face.
'Well, I guess it was quite normal for a boy to go blushing when they receive something nice from girls, I may assume.' I sighed when I notice that he seems shy a bit.
''Yua-chan!'' Sakura called her name out loud.
''Gosh, it's starting!'' I watch her from afar.
''You go girl...'' I whispered.
''Eh...?'' I was confused when I notice that tears are starting to roll down Yua's cheek but Sakura's was there patting her head.
Then Sakura brushes her black ponytails off her shoulder and leaves her alone there. I guess things are not going as expected.
''So the thing is turning upside down?'' Touma approached me.
''Guess so...'' I replied with disappointment.
''That....unfortunate for our junior, right? Her feeling must have been hurt....'' Yuuto frown a bit.
''Wait, I will go check on her. You guys remember to bring your chocolates together with you and don't ever leaves a mess, you got me?''
''Yea.'' Yuuto said and Touma just nods his head.
As I was about to leaves, they both suddenly called out my name.
''Miyu!''
They both hands me a box of chocolate.
''Happy Valentine Day, pancake!'' Touma wished me.
''Here, I made this for you!'' Yuuto gently smiled at me.
''Really? Thank you, guys!!'' I take the chocolate boxes from them and give them a group hug.
''Jya, mattanee!'' I wave them goodbye and head towards the school field where Yua was there.
'Wait for me, Yua-chan!' I think to myself as I speed up my steps.
