Chapter 155: Chapter: Warm Up

Hundred of insects swarmed the base of the Anunnaki. Each insect was a Chimera that had transformed to infiltrate the base with minimal issues. Zane clenched his teeth in frustration as he watched the event unfold before him. What could he do? There was no possible way in which he could save everyone.

No matter what Zane did, their army would be taking a significant blow. Whatever the Apocrypha had planned, it was going perfectly. This predicament would not end well for anyone that was against the Apocrypha.

Zane, however, hardened his resolve to fight. There was little point in giving up despite the circumstances. He watched as all the insects turned into hundreds of Chimera of Rank 4 and above. 

The Rank 4 Chimera that transformed were all equipped with suits to protect them from the harsh sunlight. It was evident to Zane that they were all wearing specialized nanotech equipment that would reshape along with the structure of their bodies.
