Chapter 28: CHAPTER 27: Ruined

I got so used with the twins warm that I completely forgotten that it is my turn now to do the torture.

My name was called too many times by the announcers, which made me get too much of attention. The twin let go of me, as I hear Max whisper in my ears, with a soothing words that calms my heart.

"We got your back. Good luck angel." Said Max before letting me go.

I walk through the arena while the side of my face is still wet with tears from awhile ago. The pregnant woman is scrubbing both of her palm together asking me for her life, together with her baby. The guy whom we are about to torture looks at me begging.

"Please, I am begging you! You can kill me now, but please spare my child!" the woman begged, as she kissed my foot, while kneeling in front of me.

"Mother! Waaaahhh!" the kid besides her cries so much, while he tries to hug his mom, tight.

They are trembling in fear…

'Ayesha, listen! They are sacrifice!

Kill them now!'

I tried to convince myself.

'Kill them, or you will ruined the plan'

'Come on Ayesha! You can do this girl. Stop acting like as if, this is the first time you killed someone!'

'Don't mess up with the plan! Kill them!'

The little kid is beside his mom is crying so hard while hugging the side of his mom, as the woman kneeled in front of me begging for their life.

"P-please M-maam! S-Spare m-my wife and m-my k-kids. They d-don't deserve a-all t-this! You can kill m-me, however y-you want! B-but p-please! Not my family" the father begged, in between his painful situation.

All three of them are crying, so hard for each other safety…

I look at the father, who are all tied up, on his sit.

He's not beaten, just like the others, because I haven't touch him in the first place.

But he was crying so hard…

Who wouldn't?

He is the husband of this pregnant lady, kneeling in front of me for the life of her son.

And the father of this three year old kid.

I wonder if my demon of a father, would do the same…

I wonder he would cry so hard too, after having me on the same situation…

Will he beg too, for my welfare?

Would he try to ask my predator, to kill him instead of me?

I guess not…

I'm sure that won't happen.

Why would he? He was the one who sold you, to this demons remember?

He was the one who put you in this inferno, in exchange for a pack of cocaine.

How dumb can you be, in thinking that he too will cry for your life?

How dumb can you be, to think a two-face monster like him would care about you?

About his own child…

About his own daughter, whom he sold in exchange of his selfish desire…

That would be so impossible.

Having him do such things, is like making him drink the whole ocean himself.

That guy, is a monster Ayesha…

Hoping that he would waste a bit of care about you, is too impossible.

Stop dreaming…

You still have an exam to finish.

I walk closer to them, while gripping my dagger tightly.

I passed on the lady, crying and walk towards her husband…

I start raising my hand with my dagger.

I saw how the guy, closes his eyes ready to face his own death.

The woman cover her kid with her body, while closing her eyes so hard.

They both readied themselves in facing their end.

But all I did is to untie the guy, and broke the chain on the woman's legs.

I'm sorry Ms. Kazumi…

I just can't kill the innocent.

The whole crowd went silent.

They are still waiting for what I am going to do with my prey.

"Go." I said while looking at the woman.

"Go. And save yourself." I told the woman, and her husband.

The couple look at me for a second before thanking me.

They run away, as soon as they heard my words.

One of my instructor gets really mad at me, because of what I did. So when the native couple is about to get out from the gate, she immediately killed the whole family, with the used of her guns.

I tremble, as my eyes grew wide while looking at the dead body of those slaves.

W-what have I done?

My instructor attacked me next, and start beating me up. But I am too shock to even comprehend what just happened.

"HOW DARE YOU LET YOUR PREY ESCAPE FROM YOUR PALM YOU IDIOT!" She said angrily, while beating me up so hard.

When I got my senses back, I start to dodge her attack.

How dare she kill them in front of my eyes too?

I was about to attack her, because of madness when a loud familiar voice of a woman start to filled the whole arena.

"ENOUGH!" Said by the woman wearing a black cloaked, and a ruby red necklace...

Ms Kazumi...

She goes to our direction, before she gives me a hard slap in the face. The very first time she ever hurt me herself.

I covered my cheeks, where she slap with my hands while looking at her so shock.

"YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS TO REFUSE AN EXAM. NOR HAVE ANY RIGHTS TO LET YOUR PREY ESCAPE." She angrily said to me, while throwing me dagger looks.

I know this is my fault.

I deserved this...

"Let's continue this exam tomorrow. I believe that Rinleigh is not in a good state right now. She looks pale. So let's have it tomorrow. I'm out of here." Ms. Kazumi said, before turning her back angrily at us.

That's when the final Exam ended for this day.

I look at the vanishing silhouette of Ms. Kazumi, sadly…

"I did mess up this day..." I told to myself before heaving a deep sigh...

Awww! I can't blame Rin for not killing an innocent child, and the family. I mean, who wouldn't? Rinleigh is also human, and she still have good consience. But on the other hand, I can't also blame Ms. Kazumi for getting mad at her. What do you think prenny? If you were in Rinleigh's shoe, what will you do?^^
