Chapter 84: Vol 1 : Thank You

Mia waited for James's response, and was shocked to hear loud laughter escaping his lips until the pancake crumbs he ate came out, "Is there anything funny?"

James was still busy laughing, holding his stomach which hurt because of it.

Mia lost her appetite, apart from the pancake crumbs scattered everywhere, which made her back her chair, she laughed as if the news of the fire was a good thing.

James wiped the tears that had gathered on the corners of his lids because of his loud laughter earlier, "Karma is real, b*tch"

"I didn't see Fay committing a crime," Mia said coldly, "And watch your mouth!"

James rolled his eyes, "Fay's threatening me, isn't that a crime? She deserves it, babe."

Mia could not bear to see James's face, bright like the sun this morning, who enjoyed Faye's suffering, "I know it was you who did it including the shares that were sold."
